||What am I?||

I ponder what role I play in your view,

Am I a fairytale, a princess so true?

Or a rose, with beauty and thorns concealed,

Details unseen, emotions left unhealed

You label me childish, unaware of my past,

 A missing childhood, an excuse to grasp

Pride declared, but the depth unclear,

Annoyance voiced, is it truly sincere?

Tears fall silently, pain deeply concealed,

 Yearning for comfort, a solace revealed

 I have a home, yet my heart implores,

Understand, with you, my home restores
