In the fleeting glance, our hearts entwine
I blush, I sigh, your love divine,
Though worlds apart, what can we do?
Our love transcends, deep and true
Bound by different paths we tread,
Conversations veiled, hearts full of dread
Families unaware, a secret we bear,
Fearful of the consequences we dare
Your tender gaze, your gentle grace,
In this forbidden dance, we find our place
Seeking peace like the coo of a dove,
In this clandestine world, we yearn for love
Why must this love be deemed taboo?
We're just two souls, honest and true
Separated by circumstance, like a painful cut,
Yet together, our love shall never be shut
