Leaving behind, a bittersweet sway,

 Unheard voice in my disarray,

Memories, friends, and school to part,

Embracing solitude's lonely art

Echoes linger of snowy delight,

Laughter shared, in the frosty night

Gone are the cats I called my own,

In solitude, I find myself prone

Weathered days of serene grace,

 Ice-capped memories, a frozen embrace

Yearning for the warmth of yore,

In solitude, I seek something more
