Loving you through the ages past,
In my diary, our love's steadfast
Every thought consumed by you alone,
Yearning for you, my heart's soft tone
Waiting, hoping for your words to grace,
But found my heart in a different space
Your unexpected reply, a piercing blow,
Tears well up, emotions overflow
Your love claimed by another's guise,
Leaving me to question with heavy sighs
Silent, shattered, my heart in tatters,
Wondering if love even matters
What wrong did I unknowingly commit,
In dreams, our first kiss, I permit
Through nights of sorrow, sleepless eyes,
Your rejection a painful, cruel surprise
Knowing full well my love's deep flow,
Why hurt me so? Now, sunk so low
