Cooking and baking once brought me thrill,
Using the knife with precision and skill
Crafting dishes and sweet treats with care,
All for them, my joy to share
Offering to family, hoping for their love,
Met with strange looks, not from above
"I don't care for this," one says without heart,
Explaining my effort, tears after tears start
Dishes made, left untouched, I dine alone,
In silence, my efforts unknown
