I wish I hadn't witnessed that scene unfold,

Words fail me now, my feelings untold

My voice quivered, my sight blurred,

 Betrayal's truth, from lips unheard

There you were, with another by your side,

Your embrace, her presence, could not hide

In that moment, I felt invisible,

In a world where trust is divisible

You pursued her while ignoring my plea,

Returning to me with silence, so empty

How could you carry on a secret affair,

Leaving me to question, to despair?

You asked for my support, as if all's the same,

But how could I, when trust went up in flames?

Was our love merely a facade, a disguise?

Our bond shattered now, beneath love's lies
