Loving you once meant the world to me,
I'd do anything for you, can't you see?
But perhaps you took my devotion too far,
Demanding essays and meals, leaving a scar
You say it's love, but I feel used and drained,
Amidst my efforts, I receive naught but pain
I yearn for reciprocity, a token of care,
Yet it feels like my heart's plea hangs in the air
Using me for my friends, that's not fair game,
Or for my pool, an object in your acclaim
Do you truly love me, or is it a knot,
Binding me in a cycle I wish to blot?
