||Resilience in Shadows||

In the echoes of recurring pain,

A silent plea, tears like rain

Pillow and prayer mat, witnesses to my fears,

God, do You sense my unspoken tears?

I ponder my actions, seeking a reason,

Told to endure, to strengthen in this season

Yet, it's tough as they persist, relentless strife,

Bullying shadows, haunting my life

Day to night, a relentless spree,

Why, oh why, won't they let me be?

Innocent heart, untouched by spite,

Yet, their words cut, a relentless fight

Sickened by their venomous decree,

Aching soul, yearning to be free

Just words, they say, but a piercing shot,

Wounds unseen, the pain won't clot

I extend kindness, but bitterness I meet,

In this cruel dance, I find defeat

Undeserving of this torment, I plea,

Yet, it persists, this dark decree

A prisoner of their callous game,

How to escape, I don't dare to name

Drowning in silence, night after night,

Asleep, yet haunted by the plight

My cries echo silently, unheard,

In the vast abyss, my voice interred
