"I can't believe we're about to graduate." Jude smiled in the mirror has he fixed his gown. Connor smiled too at his reflection.
"I'm probably going to miss anchor beach college."
"Eh, I can survive." Connor responded with a smirk. Jude just chuckled as he slicked his hair in his normal hairstyle. "Plus, it'll be great spending the summer with my hot boyfriend without worrying about the next college year." Connor added, setting his book down. Jude mischievously looked at him, turning around at him.
"Did you call me hot, Mr. Stevens?" Jude flirted, smirking. Connor nodded, sitting up in Jude's bed.
"Yeah. What's it to you?" Connor flirted back with a sly expression. Jude couldn't help but smile at his boyfriend of 8 years. They had gotten together in Freshmen year back in high school, and they were inseparable ever since then. There were some rough patches here and there, jealousy and fights, but they made it past them maturely.
They were serious, starting sophomore year of high school-which was at pretty young age, but they were seriously in love. Stef and Lena found out junior year, and sleepovers had some restrictions added to them. The two weren't in trouble, because they were protected and mature about the whole thing.
Now finally, they were graduating college, and were soon going to live together after they graduated. And they seriously could not wait. Connor was the one who decided to wait a year until they officially decided to move because they needed some well paying jobs until they felt settled. Connor leaned in, and kissed Jude on the lips seductively as he wrapped his arms around Jude's neck. Jude smiled through the kiss, but pulled away after a few moments. "We can't do this now, graduation is in two hours." He smiled with a blush.
"Fine. You'll get your graduation gift later then." Connor pretended to be mad, but only started smiling soon after that. Jude chuckled, holding his boyfriend's hands.
"I can't wait till we live together." Jude smiled lovingly. "There would never be interruptions." He added, blushing at the last sentence.
"Interruptions?" Connor questioned mischievously. "Please explain, Mr. Foster." He teased as Jude felt the heat rush to his face. Connor knew that Jude was shy of talking dirty, but Connor always got something out of him eventually. So instead of being embarrassed and all of that, Jude smirked.
"Interruptions when we're doing this." Jude responded, his hand traveling down to Connor's front, resting it there. Connor looked at him in surprise, gulping in defeat.
"That g-graduation gift better be soon." Connor stuttered nervously as Jude slyly smirked at him.
---
After the two were officially done getting ready, Connor and him went to the school in graduation gowns. When they parked in the parking lot, Connor smiled at his boyfriend, squeezing his hand affectionately. "Well, this is it." He whispered, pecking Jude on the lips quickly before they both walked out of the car. They walked to the entrance hand in hand with matching smiles. They went to meet their classmates and prepare for the graduation.
----
"And now for the graduation speech, which will be read by Jude Adams Foster, a boy who came here at the beginning. This boy had actually gone to five foster homes in his life." A woman with a microphone said. Jude didn't really appreciate the woman saying his personal life to so many strangers, but shrugged it off and walked onto the stage. She smiled, giving him the microphone and walked down. Jude took a breath, looking at his flash cards. He began reading them slowly and clearly.
"They say, senior year is the best year in high school. Well, I wouldn't blame them because it'd be the last time we'd get up early in the mornings before college." Jude commented, as some laughter was heard. "When you first step into an actual college for the first time, you feel extremely nervous. Well, I was. Knowing I had 3 years of school left, it made me nervous to think about my further future and grades for different opportunities." Jude read off the flash cards. He put them down, and looked at all the people in the room. "But, when you're a senior, you start to realize that everything will be okay. Being a senior in high school and in College really changed me, and affected how I saw everyone around me. I don't have to worry about my future, because I'm spending it with my boyfriend." Jude blushed as "aww's" were heard in the background. Connor smiled with tears filling his eyes.
"My classmates, my teachers, principals even." Jude looked at a crying Stef. "I had the best high school and college with you guys. Congratulations to the class of 2022!" He shouted and everyone around the room applauded and roared with excitement. The woman walked up and gently took the microphone.
"Don't leave just yet, Jude. Because someone has a little surprise for you." The woman smiled at Jude's confused expression. What was she talking about?
A few moments later, Connor started walking onto the stage, and Jude sucked in a breath. What was going on?
"Hi Jude." Connor greeted with the microphone.
"Hi." Jude chuckled, shyly standing there looking at his boyfriend in confusion.
"10 years ago, I asked Jude to be my biology partner for a project we had to do in the 7th grade." Connor told the crowd. "We became best friends after that for two years." He added. "8 years ago, I gave Jude his first real kiss." He blushed, telling the crowd as they stayed silent. "7 years ago, we decided to keep our relationship going, and we were inseparable ever since then." Connor looked at Jude with all the love of my life. "Now today, is going to be one hell of a memory." He smiled at his boyfriend. Suddenly, he kneeled down before Jude, and Jude widened his eyes, putting his hands over his mouth.
Connor took out a black box, looking up at his boyfriend. "Jude Adams Foster." He began. "Will you marry me?" He bit his lip.
"Oh my god." He whispered. "YES!" Jude yelled, hugging him tightly. The crowd screamed and cheered
"I love you so much." Connor whispered in Jude's neck.
"I love you too." Jude responded, burying his face in Connor's neck. The woman with the microphone applauded as well as everyone else and it was certainly a memory Jude wouldn't forget.

The next day
-----
"Good morning, fiancé." Connor whispered next to Jude as they laid in bed together.
"Good morning, husband to be." Jude responded, kissing him softly. "It's so good waking up next to you."
"Definitely could say the same, Mr. Light snoring Judicorn." Connor teased as Jude's face went red.
"I do? Oh my gosh. Did I wake you up? I'm so embar-" Connor cut him off with another tender kiss. They were soon interrupted by a knock on the door. Connor's face went red and he slipped his shirt on, making themselves look presentable. Callie walked in with a smile, clasping her hands together.
"Morning sleepyheads." She greeted. Connor kissed Jude's cheek and they both blushed. "You've guys really known each other for ten years? Damn." She laughed.
"Yep." Connor held Jude's hands. "And hopefully there will be more decades of us together." Jude rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but smile contently.
"Well, I'll see you guys later. Bye Jude! Bye brother in-law." She laughed, walking out. Jude leaned in and kissed Connor this time, wrapping his arms around him.
"What was that for?" He chuckled, holding his waist.
"I just want to kiss my fiancé." Jude responded, capturing his lips again as they both lied back down.
