Desert

*This is starting in the dark world. Kris and Ralsei had gone exploring, and found a desert the week prior to this. Kris, Susie, Ralsei, and Crystal are going to explore it. They get to the desert, with clothes that will allow them to not get heatstroke while protecting them.

"Alright. Let's go." Kris said, lifting Ralsei up onto their back to carry him. "Ugh. This reminds me of summertime. So damn hot."

"Pretty damn dry." Crystal added. "But it's a desert, so I don't know what I had expected."

"Nah. I think the temperature is good." Susie stated.

"Agreed." Crystal replied.

Kris and Ralsei looked at Crystal and Susie.

"You two are insane." Kris said.

"I wouldn't say insane, more like...why do you enjoy this? It's so hot..." Ralsei added.

"It's just so warm. It's nice." Susie said. "I will fight you on this."

The four continued walking. When suddenly, a strange figure stopped them.

"What are you doing in my desert?" A strange voice asked.

"Um...exploring?" Kris answered.

"Who even are you?" The figure asked, much clearer now. It's a girl.

"Kris Dreemurr, Prince Ralsei Rune's appointed knight. Due to past experiences, a couple other members of the royal guard had to come with us when exploring." Kris said. "This is Susie. And that is Crystal Dreemurr. I am carrying the Prince. Not because he asked me to, but because I felt I should."

"It's not safe to be walking around without proper protection..." The girl said.

The girl took the four back to her own kingdom. Ralsei is now walking. Crystal behind him, Susie to his left, Kris to his right.

"The name's Nemona." Nemona stated. "From what I've heard, Prince Ralsei is the kind of person one would want as an ally."

"Can confirm. He's real sweet." Kris stated. "He can fight, we just prefer to protect him."

"You look rather pretty." Ralsei said to Nemona.

"Thanks. I'm really considering allowing us to have an alliance. But you'd need to do me a favor and prove yourself." Nemona said.

"What's the favor?" Susie asked.

"We've had a bit of an issue with some creatures. We do have warriors, but they're in training. And they have proved to do good as they had protected us in the night, however, the things attacking us are strange. They don't seem to die." Nemona said. "I'm hoping you know how to get rid of them for good."

"We will assist you as much as we can." Ralsei said.

A guard approached.

"My lady, it appears Night is approaching. Everyone is ready. Some have expressed fear that they will not succeed in protecting everyone." The guard stated.

"Tell them to gather over there, as these four stated that they are going to help us." Nemona replied. 

The next thing the four knew, they were standing somewhere.

"Everyone, meet Prince Ralsei Rune, and his guards." Nemona said.

"We are here to help as much as we can." Ralsei stated with confidence.

Crystal slipped over to Nemona, and tapped her shoulder.

"Hey, um...I have a strong sense of smell, and I smell something approaching. Can we get to the fight?" Crystal said.

"Of course." Nemona said.

"Wait! Before we get started, may I see the weapons?" Crystal asked.

She gave one weapon a sniff, and immediately knew they were nichirin blades.

"Ah, that's good. You have nichirin blades. That's perfect. Remember to aim for the neck." Crystal said.

The battle is then done.

"Thank you, we are now Allies." Nemona said as she shook Ralsei's hand. She smiled. "I can tell this is going to be good."

"Thanks again!" Ralsei replied. "Anyone would be very lucky to be your friend! Everyone here is very lucky to be protected by you."

*Nemona is now an ally.
