Biggest plot twist of Crystal's life.

*This is in the dark world. Kris, Crystal, and Cristina are sitting in Ralsei's basement with Shinobu. Shinobu is running a blood test. She got the results.

"Okay, I got the results, and you, Crystal and Cristina, are sisters. Biologically. Though I'm not sure what you're planning on doing." Shinobu said. "Is your mother going to adopt her and is she going to move in? Or no?"

"Well, I think that mom could legally adopt her, and she could still be the Siren Queen. Somehow." Crystal said.

"Okay. I also noticed that your blood is not normal monster blood, much like Susie. Except I've never seen this kind of blood before. Could you get a sample from what you think this may be?" Shinobu said.

"Well, mother was a siren, the siren queen before me, and father was an axolotl monster." Cristina explained.

"Ah. Thank you. Could you maybe get a sample of siren blood? Pure siren blood?" Shinobu said.

"Absolutely." Cristina replied.

"Am I the only one who realized that Cristina was referring to Crystal's biological parents with the PAST TENSE?" Kris asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah. They died." Cristina said.

"Wait, so if biological mother was a siren, and biological father was an axolotl monster...then how did they...how do sirens even..." Crystal said. She is bothered by her thoughts.

"Is it not traditional for females to be reproducing together? Well, mother and father were somehow able to reproduce together, I've been here in the dark world all my life." Cristina said.

"Wait, how old are you? And when is your birthday?" Crystal asked.

"Fifteen. April 10th." Cristina answered.

"Me too..." Crystal said quietly.

"OH MY GOD!!" Crystal and Cristina shouted at the same time.

"I FUCKING KNEW IT!!" Kris shouted.

"Calm down!! All three of you!" Shinobu said trying to get them to stop shouting. "I understand this is a really big thing for you."

"WAAAAIIIT!!!! THIS MEANS THAT CRYSTAL WAS BORN IN THE DARK WORLD!! HOLY SHIT!!" Kris shouted.

Crystal looked at her hands.

"What...?" Crystal said, surprised. "I want to see if I have any siren powers, like a deadly voice!"

"First, let's get a sample of Siren blood!" Shinobu said.

"Okay."

Within the next hour, Crystal got a good blood sample. She gave it to Shinobu. Shinobu looked at the sample of Crystal's blood, and the siren blood. Which she saw that Crystal's blood mostly matched siren's blood. The insect hashira muttered to herself about how strange everything is getting. She was so busy muttering to herself, that she didn't even notice Lancer coming down.

"Hey butterfly lady!" Lancer said as he walked up to Shinobu. "What are you doing?"

"I'm doing some research." Shinobu said.

"Oh wow! What is that?" Lancer said.

"This is a microscope." Shinobu replied.

"No, I meant on the little glass thing! I know what a microscope is. Kris showed me one!" Lancer said with his wholesome, innocent smile.

"Oh. That's um...uh..." Shinobu tries to say, but can't think of a good sentence. Guup came downstairs. She knew it was blood.

"He's used to drawing kinda gory stuff. I think he's been desensitized to gore by watching his friends fight demons to protect him. Blood is perfectly fine, apparently." Guup said.

"Oh...in that case, it is blood. I just want to see stuff about sirens." Shinobu explained.

"Oh that's cool!" Lancer said excitedly.

"I should have a serious talk to Kris and their friends about having battles in front of young people." Shinobu muttered.

"What's a siren?" Lancer asked.

Shinobu blushed a little at the very thought about sirens, remembering just how much mature content surrounds them.

"Well...they are supposedly water dwelling creatures, who can take the form of attractive females, and they sing about what you want most, to lure you in to drag you into the depths of the ocean, drown you, and then eat you." Shinobu explained. "I have evidence of Crystal having siren blood in her veins."

"Wow! That sounds really badass!" Lancer said.

"Um...are you old enough to be swearing?" Shinobu asked.

"I am eleven years old!" Lancer stated. "Susie told me I can swear at any age! But I don't think peachboy likes the idea of me swearing right now. I don't know though."

Lancer shrugged. Shinobu smiled.

Later, Shinobu was observing odd behaviors with Crystal. Crystal appeared to be vocalizing as she was watering flowers. The vocalizing appeared to lure Rouxls outside.

"Wait, whateth..." Rouxls muttered out of confusion.

Crystal was wearing headphones, so she didn't notice. She continued singing.

Rouxls looked confused and a little bit scared. He went back inside, and saw Shinobu.

"Didst thou seeeth that?" Rouxls asked.

"Yes...I did. Did you hear some voice promising something?" Shinobu replied.

"Yes...promisedeth good puzzles..." Rouxls said.

"Hmm...okay...I'll write that down, and call Asher over." Shinobu said.
