Storms and Sirens

*This is in the dark world. There is currently a thunderstorm. Ralsei squeaked nervously as some thunder caught him off guard. Kris got a bit excited at the sound of Thunder. Na was a little scared. He hugged Ralsei. Kris ran outside to experience the rain. They forgot that the weather has been a little weird lately.

"Mama, where's dad going?" Na asked.

"Outside, probably?" Ralsei answered.

"It's gonna rain! I love feeling the first few drops on my face!" Kris said excitedly.

They looked over at a flower, and saw a nice drop of rain hit it, and it shriveled up.

"Wait, what?"

A boiling hot raindrop hit Kris's forehead.

"Oh. I see." Kris said realizing their mistake. "Well frick."

Kris went back inside.

"Did Susie's anime magical girl transformation mess with the weather or something..." Kris muttered. They suddenly remembered that their sister was at the beach and the rain was boiling. "CRYSTAL IS STILL OUT THERE!!"

Ralsei quickly took Kris's hands.

"We can go and get her. We just need something with better protection." Ralsei said.

"Oh no...what if she decided to go into the ocean? The water is acidic!" Kris said with worry.

Ralsei nodded, gave Kris a little peck, and got an umbrella to help get them both through the rain. The two went to look for Crystal. She was nowhere to be seen, until she came out of the water.

"You two should probably go back inside, I'm good." Crystal stated. "I'll help with the research by observing the behaviors of the fish."

Kris and Ralsei started to head back, but Kris thought it would be romantic to bring him to a cliff, so they could dance in the rain. They did so.

The next day, it was still raining, but the rain was normal. Kris got good protection on. They went to the beach. Crystal did come back the night prior. Anyway back to Kris. They sat down, and closed their eyes to soak in the calming atmosphere. They heard a voice promising something to help save the world. A beautiful girl crawled up to them.

"I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend." Kris said.

This irritated the girl. The next thing Kris knew, they were being dragged into the water with a hand over their nose and their mouth. They tried to pull away, but the grip was tight. They couldn't breathe. They were getting lightheaded. That was no normal darkner girl. That was a siren. Either way, Kris could feel themself dying. Suddenly, the hand was pulled from their face, and they were being pulled to the surface. When they reached the surface, Kris was laid down. They immediately started coughing, and trying to catch their breath. After about a minute of coughing and trying to breathe, they caught their breath, and were still lightheaded. They took a deep breath.

"Kris!!" A familiar, sweet voice said.

Kris was numb. They couldn't move, and were then given some water, which they drank because they felt dehydrated. They soon regained feeling in their limbs and entire body.

"Kris..." the same voice said.

Kris's vision cleared up. It was Ralsei. Kris then sat up, and kissed the fluffy boy. Crystal came out of the water and knelt down to check if Kris and Ralsei were alright.

"Thank you for saving me..." Kris said. "...I'm sorry for scaring you."

Ralsei gave Kris a little peck on the cheek.

"Just glad you're safe." Crystal said. "I did notice something in the sand."

"Huh. Okay. I'm wondering if I should let you two investigate, we have more plants to research." Ralsei said.

"You know, we could have some kind of research lab to help, so we don't have to do all the research in the basement." Kris suggested.

"That's a good idea! But...we were going to start on houses for everyone as well?" Ralsei said.

"Eh. Kris could build a plan in Minecraft and we'll find a way to carry it out." Crystal said.

"Okay. You guys can go investigate the thing Crystal found, and tell me about any results. Be safe!" Ralsei said. "Love you, Kris!"

"I love you more, Ralsei!"

"Love you most!"

"Haha! I'd die for you!"

"I wouldn't let you die!"

They eventually got to what they were going to do.

Kris and Crystal went into the weird thing. They found a whole ass kingdom. Sirens everywhere. Suddenly, some kind of alarm went off, and there was pure pandemonium. Suddenly, someone who appeared to be a queen and was holding some kind of weapon booked it over.

"How many times do I have to teach you this lesson?! Stay out or face my wrath!!" The queen said quite loudly.

Kris noticed the cause of the issue. It was an overlord. They wanted to warn the queen that this was an overlord.

The overlord tried to swing at the queen, only for the hit to be deflected. The overlord proceeded to leave.

The queen looked over at Kris and Crystal, she was rather surprised to see someone who looked so similar

"What's...your name?" The siren queen asked, tilting her head.

"Crystal." Crystal stated. "Crystal Dreemurr."

"Hm. You have a similar marking that I have, our eyes are the same colors, and we have skull pupils." The Siren Queen said. "My name is Cristina. Our names are similar."

"Not to mention your hair color is similar too." Kris stated. "Except Crystal bleached and dyed hers."

"Hair color is not important." Crystal and Cristina said in perfect sync, while looking at Kris.

"Damn, you even said that in perfect sync. Wouldn't be surprised if you were twins or something." Kris stated. "Twins separated or whatever...wait...CRYSTAL THAT WOULD MEAN-"

Kris turned to their sister, eyes widened.

"THAT WOULD MEAN YOU WERE BORN HERE IN THE DARK WORLD!!" Kris then shouted, putting their hands onto Crystal's shoulders. "BUT WE KNOW YOU'RE A LIGHTNER! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!"

"I mean...we could get a blood test done." Crystal suggested.

"Yes, we could." Cristina replied.

"I'm going to have an aneurysm..." Kris muttered exasperatedly, as they turned around.

"Kris, go call Miss Shinobu and explain this whole thing to her, and tell her that we want a blood test done too." Crystal said.

"Fine..." Kris mumbled.

Kris went back to the surface to call Shinobu, and Crystal brought Cristina to the surface as well.

"Hey...Miss Shinobu...Crystal found some weird ass thing in the ocean, so we went to investigate, and found someone who looks a lot like Crystal. Yes. They want a blood test done. The person we found appears to be a queen of some kind?" Kris said, on the call with Shinobu.

"Siren queen." Cristina said, correcting Kris.

"Siren Queen. Bring her to...okay. We'll head over." Kris said. They turned to their sister and the Siren Queen. "Alright, we're going to Ralsei's."
