*This starts in the light world. Kris is at the lake with their tsuguko. Catti and MK had just received training weapons, and Kris is instructing them on properly swinging and use the weapons.

"Yes, hold them just like that. These are a little sharp, so be careful." Kris instructed.
"Wait, these are real blades?!" MK asked.
"Yes, if they weren't they wouldn't do good damage and motivate you to keep going." Kris answered. "Two hands provide better control, but not as flexible with movement. One hand gives better flexibility, but less control unless you know what you're doing. But before we get to actual combat, we will do breathing."
It took a couple of days for them to fully get it down, and they're trying constant.
"Alright, we will start on combat soon, we will work on other things. Let's go back to the place I showed you." Kris said.
They went back to the dark world.
"I set up a load of traps and shit in the scarlet forest. Get from the mother of all scarlet trees to here, the field of hopes and dreams as fast as you can while avoiding every trap set..." Kris said. "...and we will work on a specific thing of your choice."
Kris monitored the whole run with their PDA, and noticed that while some traps had been set off, they had all been avoided.
Catti and MK eventually got back, completely out of breath.
"Nice job. Why don't you sit down for a bit?" Kris said. "You did pretty great. You avoided every single one. That's amazing."
Training went on for a while.
Okay okay I'll admit it, I'm just lazy. I acted some stuff out with Owen, I'll tell you what happened in the next chapter.
