One's True Identity

*This is in the dark world. Kris is just in the relaxation area, stretching and reading. When some traveler walked up to them.

"Ah, you're busy, are you not?" The traveler asked.

"I mean, I was about to go into a hyperfocus and I'm a little annoyed, but do you need something?" Kris said, side eyeing the traveler.

"Well...yes, I do need to tell you something, Kris Dreemurr." The traveler said.

That caught Kris off guard.

"H-how do you know my name?!" Kris stuttered, now fully looking at the traveler.

"Do you know who I am?" The traveler asked.

"No! I just know you as some traveler!!" Kris answered.

"I see. Do you recognize...this?" The traveler said, holding up their left hand. It had Lux's sigil on the palm.

"That's Lux's sigil!" Kris said, shifting positions.

"That's right."

The traveler dropped the hood, and removed the cloak.

"I am Lux, the dragon of light. You, dear child, are one of my descendants." Lux stated. Their eyes were glowing, and they were covered in glowing markings. "You're a swordsman, just as I was."

Lux had a similar outfit to Akaza, but the sort of shirt was connected. No shoes. Their chest had a sword sort of mark on their chest.

"I had a large sword, just as you do. Except for the fact that I am much taller, and it was the size of me, not twice my size." Lux said.

"HEY!! I'M NOT SHORT!!" Kris protested.

"Your height is five feet and four inches, don't even." Lux said.

"I AM ONLY FIFTEEN LEAVE ME ALONE!!" Kris shouted, now fully standing up.

"Change of topic...your lover." Lux said.

"DON'T BRING RALSEI INTO THIS!!" Kris shouted.

Lux just laughed. "You're into feminine boys?"

Kris's face went a little red.

"THEY'RE CALLED FEMBOYS, AND THE WAY THEY DRESS IS CUTE!!" Kris yelled.

"Nothing wrong with that. Did you know that my wife was a Kazoron?" Lux said.

"She...was?" Kris asked.

"Yes, child. Let me take you to my sky archipelago." Lux said.

They took Kris to the sky archipelago, and sat down on the sigil. Kris sat down too.

"Take my hands."

Lux and Kris took each other's hands, and made a beacon of light, and Lux went into dragon form. Kris focused on their breathing, which allowed their antennae and tail to take form. They were lifted up because of the updraft, and Lux lifted them up. Lux proceeded to go around in a circle, which caused Kris to be lifted higher and higher. The beacon of light came back, and Kris was absorbed in it. Completely absorbed.

Kris lifted their knees to their chest, and put their arms in between their legs and their chest, and closed their eyes, as it got brighter and brighter.

They finally opened their eyes. The place where Kris found themself felt ethereal. Clouds everywhere. They sort of just floated around. Sparkles and light also went all around them.

After a few minutes, Kris saw a figure. It looked to be the Fairy Queen, but a Kazoron....and with Lux. A couple of minutes after, Kris's eyes started to close a bit, and the light faded, as they fully closed their eyes.

Kris found themself being held up by Ralsei, and Lux approached.

"I could only go for so long. Did you find her?" Lux said.

"Uh...who?" Kris asked as they managed to sit.

"My...my wife..." Lux said, looking down.

"Your wife? I don't know anything about your wife. But I did see a kazoron, who also looked like the fairy queen." Kris said.

"Did she have red hair? Was she red herself? Did she have red eyes?" Lux asked.

"Um...yes?" Kris said.

"You found my wife...but she's a fairy queen now?" Lux said.

"Um...I don't know? Also, I would like prior warning about this." Kris said.

"Sorry."

Kris just sighed.

"Sorry. What year is it?" Lux asked.

Kris told Lux what year it was.

"Wow. I've been a dragon for a while. I miss my wife." Lux said, looking down.

"I bet you do. I don't know how to respond to that." Kris replied.
