When I'm awake the next morning he was gone however he couldn't have been gone long as his side of the bed was still warm. I turned over to look out the balcony doors at the sun trickling in when I noticed a note beside my bed.
'I think this is what you're looking for, you really like this Zade Meadows guy don't you?'
I felt my heart quite literally jumped in my chest as I sat up further noticing the next book in the series standing up against my lamp shade. He brought me a book. I couldn't help but smile with excitement and how cute this was.
I got up and showered and changed into my favorite black sun dress that fell mid thigh and had a pretty Princess neckline, pulling on my converses and applying a light bit of makeup before exiting out my room and downstairs. No one was awake yet, so I was quick to eat my breakfast and headed out to the clubhouse it was just a short walk from here as I didn't feel like driving.
Slipping my sunglasses onto my face I took a nice morning walk towards the club enjoying the heat of the sun and the light breeze in the air. The butterflies in my stomach seem tamed and happy at the conversation we had last night. Maybe something was going right for once and maybe this could work.
I arrived at the Country Club already to find Rafe, Topper and Kelce there. I smiled at them as I walked in Rafe placed the light kiss on my cheek as I walked past him to the bar. Earning the two boys to wolf whistle and Rafe shot them a glare I couldn't help but smile. Ordering my usual coffee, I went back over and found they had reserved a spot just for me to watch them play pool.
I took the opportunity to read. Every now and then Rafe's eyes would flicker over to me and send me a wink. I didn't mind him staring now as everyone knew what we were. It was nice. I had got to a spicy scene in my book when he walked over to take a sip of his beer.
"You like your book?" He cocked a brow making me blush, "yes I do" I said making him chuckle and press a kiss to my temple. "I see you smiling and crossing your legs Castillo" He gave me a wink and made his way back to the table.
Was it that obvious? I tried to hide a laugh but failed when he made eye connect again. "I preferred it when you hated each other" Kelce said making Topper agree with him. I rolled eyes at them as Rafe smacked the back of both of their heads. "What? I don't like all this flirting" Kelce added as I closed my book, hoping off the stool and walking towards Rafe. I gave him a quick peck, making Topper gag. All of us let out a laugh and the boys resumed on their game.
Rafe wrapped his arms round my wasit as I looked up to him. "Anything you like in your book that I'm not doing?" He smirked as I shook my head. "You do everything I like" I whispered giving him another kiss, but someone's voice was quick to stop this moment.
"Rafe Cameron" Barry voice screamed through the club. "Fuck" He hissed dropping his arms from around my waist and taking my hand leading us towards him. His eyes found us, and he looked livid. I shot him a glare as Rafe tried to calm him, letting go of me but making sure he was in the middle of us. Topper was behind me watching the events unfold.
