"cher, percy!" him and annabeth screamed, over the sound of helicopter blades whirring in the air.
almost everything was surrounded by police.
percy jumped over the edge of the fence, and a red-haired girl had an arm wrapped around him, coughing her lungs out.
"hi, grover." cherry greeted, with a wave.
she let go of the blonde beside her, and looked down at her completely drenched outfit.
"hi. look, i'm sorry about shoving you in the stairwell. even hearing myself say that sounds really bad, but i just- i knew you'd never agree, and there wasn't enough time-" percy began to apologize to annabeth.
annabeth wrapped her arms around him.
percy had a sort of confused look on his face.
grover and cherry shared the same confused look.
