percy recognized it immediately.
her hair was darker, and she had more piercings.
it wasn't just the fact that she looked older. her energy was.. completely off. completely different than it had been the last time he'd seen her.
she looked great, of course. she always did.
percy made sure to catch his breath before speaking.
"hi!" cherry greeted.
"how are you here already?" percy questioned.
"jet."
"oh, right. super rich."
"obviously. did your mom like the bag i bought her?"
"yeah, she did. she uses it everyday."
cherry nodded her head, and then turned her attention to the girl beside him.
"my favorite. hi, annie!" cherry wrapped her arms around the girl.
"nice to see you, cher." annabeth mustered up the most polite tone she could. "okay, bye."
cherry removed her arms.
she watched as the girl walked away in a hurry.
the redhead frowned, and spun back to the boy behind her.
