she huffed, and looked around at her friends.
grover was facedown a few feet away, snoring into the rug.
annabeth's shirt was too big for her.
percy's face was unusually small.
in fact, everybody looked small.
cherry pulled a mirror out of her purse, and looked at her reflection.
all of the makeup had been removed from her face, and her hair was black. in an instant, the color transformed to a deep shade of red.
"hebe younges us." percy realized.
cherry immediately burst out into laughter at the sound of his high-pitched voice.
"stop laughing." percy demanded, which only made her laugh harder.
"holy shit." cherry held her stomach.
"blaaaaahhhh!" grover sat up and rubbed his head.
his horns had shrunk to tiny stubs. "i don't feel so good. oh, no. i don't want to be a kid again!"
"maybe we'll change back if we leave the building?" percy suggested.
annabeth stood up shakily. "worth a try."
