grover announced that he'd be able to spend the rest of the summer with his friends, but would then resume his quest for pan.
cherry was quick to argue, saying he couldn't leave again.
grover promise nothing would happen, though, and that she would rescue him again
grover was granted a two-month fur-lough and a
new set of reed pipes.
grover played the pipes all day, and his skills were.. okay.
he played ymca, and the strawberry plants started going
crazy.
"i love you, you're so talented!" cherry cheered her best-friend on.
grover told percy be could dissolve the empathy link between them, but percy insisted on keeping it.
he knew he'd be in danger by having it, but if grover was in danger, percy wanted to know.
as for tyson, the campers treated him like a hero.
later in the evening, cherry and percy were talking about something on the sand dune.
they seemed to be catching up for lost time.
