Her POV

The only thing left on my itinerary was camping and tonight our camping was scheduled for 2 days from 7:30 pm today to evening 6:30 the next day. Camping location was an hour away from the hotel and we had a private bus to pick us up. Horsey was following here also and I wished him to have a different tent. I took all my camping gear and left my room to find him waiting for me outside the room. He took all my bags and went to the elevator without saying anything. I looked at his actions and told him, "Don't become all gentleman for me now, I can handle everything on my own so give it back." He glared at me like whatever I was saying was all wrong and did not return my things to me, as the elevator came he quietly entered it. I told him, "Hey it's my turn to give silent treatment. Why are you going all silent on me?" He looked in my direction and told, "To avoid silly arguments because even you know I will never give everything to you." I went quiet with his reply and we silently went towards the bus.

He came and sat beside me in the bus and gave me a chocolate to distract me from everything. He gave one of his AirPods to me and all the old songs were playing in there. I knew he was doing all this to distract me from my motion sickness. To avoid motion sickness I had avoided my lunch. I stayed quiet the whole way and soon we reached the camping site. We had to put our own tents up and if we faced any difficulty, help would be provided. Horsey came with a big tent and I told him, "Mister, I am not going to share my tent with you." He told me, "Miss, all the single tents were gone when I reached there and you can go check if you don't believe me." I went to the pile of tents and saw that there was no single tent present, so I had to share my tent with the devil incarnation.

We started setting our tents up and it was easy because Horsey already knew how to do all this. I asked him, "Yeh sab phele kar chuke ho?" He nodded, then I asked, "Kiske saath?" He looked up from the task he was doing and said, "Kyu jealous ho?" I told him, "Bhai mein kyu jealous hone lagi, curious thi isliye puch liya. Nahi batana toh koi baat nahi." He shook his head with a crooked smile on his face and told, "Kisike saath nahi, ek baar dosto ke saath Manali aaya tha tab yeh sab kiya tha aur tab meine single tent liya tha double nahi incase tum curious ho." "Mujhe tumhari life story jaane mein koi interest nahi." Saying this I went to sit near the bonfire which was lit by the camp in charge.

("Have you done all this before?" "With whom?" "Are you jealous?" "No I was not jealous, I was just curious. If you don't want to tell me anything, that's fine with me." "It was not with someone, I went with Manali with my friends once, there I learnt all this but don't worry I took single tent that time, just added this incase you are curious." "I have no interest in knowing your life story.")

He followed me to the bonfire and said, "See I know you have all sorts of punishment for me and I am ready for all of it, but right now I want to give you something." Saying this he removed a velvet box from his pocket and my eyes widened and I immediately said "No." His eyes flashed hurt for a moment and then he became normal and said, "Let me finish." I waited for him to continue, "See I know you are not ready for marriage and this woman is not a proposal ring, it's a promise ring and it signifies that I am yours forever and someday in the future you will become mine. It signifies that I will never leave you ever again or break your trust. It signifies that whatever I feel for you is real and that you're my endgame. It signifies that I am promising you to love you till eternity." He gave a Marvel reference and I smiled at his confession, I kept my hand into his. He looked up at me like I had given him the biggest happiness of his life, like he had won a big lottery. The ring was a silver band with a diamond covering the top part. It was beautiful.

I said yes to him and he promised me that he will love me forever wow. I sent the ring's picture to my friends and they reacted with heart eyes questioning me that I said yes to him for marriage just in 3 days. I assured them that it was a promise ring not an engagement ring. Soon the night arrived and we went into the tent but we could not sleep the whole night so we chatted and told stories about the 5 years we missed out of each others life.

Guys the picture above contains 2 rings, they are a set and Horsey gave his Akshu only the silver band full of diamonds.
