Ringo POV

My heart raced as I stood, opposite a boy whose presence sent shivers down my spine. Tall and muscular, his tan skin spoke of countless hours spent under the sun. His spiky black hair seemed to defy gravity, giving him an air of wild unpredictability. But it was his eyes, those captivating ember orbs, that held me in a trance.

It's weird... I've only just met him, yet there was something oddly familiar about him. His eyes held a universe of wonders, a cosmic secret that beckoned me to unravel it. As I stared into those eyes, I felt a connection, a thread of recognition that danced on the fringes of my consciousness. It was as if I had known him for a lifetime, or perhaps even longer.

Now, here we were, standing in the fighting arena, ready to engage in a promised match. The grin on my face betrayed the excitement bubbling within me. The anticipation, the thrill—it was palpable. My body seemed to be in sync with the rhythm of the moment as if it had been waiting for this showdown all its life.

"You ready for this, Gon?" I teased, my eyes sparkling.

Gon grinned in response, "Osu!"

As the referee signaled the start, I felt a surge of energy coursing through my veins. The cheers of the crowd faded into the background, and all that remained was the boy before me, his ember eyes locked onto mine. The arena became our universe, a stage where our destinies collided.

POW!

Without wasting a moment, I struck first, my movements swift and precise. But Gon blocked with focused determination, the clash of our techniques echoing in the open air.

My strikes became a flurry, each one aimed at breaking through Gon's defenses. But to my surprise, Gon parried each move with a skill beyond his years. The crowd erupted into cheers, the energy of the spectators fueling the intensity of the match.

He's strong. I get that. Not many on this island can keep up with me. But that's not it, isn't it? There's something else... Something else that makes me feel this fired up.

With each move, each calculated step, the familiarity between us deepened. It was a dance of determination and skill, a conversation spoken through the language of combat. The adrenaline coursed through me like a drug, heightening my senses and sharpening my focus. I dodged, I parried, and I attacked with a newfound agility.

"Impressive! You're the first one to keep up with me like this!"

"It's been a while, but this is fun!" Gon blocked my attack.

In that chaotic dance of combat, I realized that the overwhelming excitement wasn't just about the fight—it was about the enigma that stood before me. Gon Freecs, a boy with ember eyes, a familiar stranger, and a moment that seemed to have been written in the stars.

Realizing that, the rhythm of the fight pulsed through my veins. The arena faded into the background, and the only reality was the dance between me and Gon. But then, cutting through the cheers of the crowd, a sharp voice called out my name, and dread washed over me like an icy wave.

"Son Ringo!"

The commanding voice echoed through the arena, forcing me to break my gaze from the boy in front of me. I turned toward the source of the interruption, and there, in the sea of faces, I spotted a figure that sent a shiver down my spine. My mother stood at the edge of the crowd, her eyes fixed on me with a mix of disapproval.

"Oh, shit."

The fighting ground came to an abrupt halt, the tension replaced by an uneasy stillness. The referee, too, seemed to sense the shift in the atmosphere and stepped back, watching the unfolding scene.
