The ones who never took a damn thing for granted? Who tried their hardest to hold on, yet could only look helplessly...
Here I am again, trapped in this endless dreamscape. The familiarity of it all feels suffocating, like a cycle I can't break free from. How many times have I found myself in this lucid dream? And yet, each time feels like the first, a twisted game my mind insists on playing.
"When did I fall asleep anyway?"
I can't help but wonder when I fell asleep. Was it moments ago? Hours? Time seems to lose its meaning in this surreal realm.
And then, the rustle of the grass breaks the eerie silence. Another figment of my imagination. I brace myself for the inevitable, rolling my eyes at the prospect of another encounter with the creations of my subconscious.
'Who is it this time?'
But as I turn to face the newcomer, dread grips my heart like icy claws.
"...!"

His round face, those shining blue eyes, that cheerful smile... it's all too real, too painful. My mind rebels against the impossibility of his presence, but there he stands, as vivid as ever.

"Nee-chan~." He greets me with warmth and familiarity.
Mortified by his presence, I can't bring myself to look away. His voice echoes in my mind, pulling at memories I've tried so hard to bury.
I mutter his name, a prayer and a curse all at once.
"J-Jun...?"
