Some people don't know what they have until it's gone.
But what about the ones who do know?
The ones who never took a damn thing for granted? Who tried their hardest to hold on, yet could only look helplessly...
In Gon's strong arms, Ringo was a tempest of emotions, her heart pounding with every beat echoing the frantic rhythm of her screams. Her eyes, wide with desperation, remained locked on Gokuro.
With each step Gon took, the distance between them and the epicenter of the calamity widened, yet Ringo's cries echoed in the desolation.

"Go—Gokuro!!!" she shrieked.
Her struggles to break free were met with an unyielding grip, Gon's arms a fortress against her frantic attempts.
The air crackled with the ominous descent of missiles, their fiery tails painting the sky with streaks of destruction. Explosions echoed in the distance, a haunting symphony that underscored the urgency of their escape. Gon's pace quickened, his steps sure and purposeful, as he navigated the treacherous path to the evacuation point.
Ringo's eyes, filled with tearful defiance, never wavered from Gokuro, who stood like a lone sentinel against the chaos. Her pleas became a mantra, a desperate invocation of a bond that transcended the chaos around them.
"Gokuro! Gokuroooo!!!"
"Let me go! Let me go! Drop me, Gon. Please!!!" Her voice a piercing cry in the cacophony of destruction.
Ringo's frantic struggles continued, her tear-filled eyes fixed on the diminishing figure of Gokuro in the distance. Gon, burdened by the knowledge that the unfolding destruction was too much for her to witness, couldn't bear to let her heart continue to break. He knew he had to spare her from the harrowing scenes that played out before them.
"I'm sorry, Rin," Gon whispered.
With a conflicted gaze, he steeled himself for what needed to be done. In a swift and sorrowful motion, Gon carefully adjusted his grip on Ringo and, with a heavy heart, delivered a precise strike to the back of her neck.
TAK.
The impact was executed with a mix of precision and compassion, causing Ringo to slump unconscious in his arms.
As her body went limp, Gon cradled her with a gentleness that contradicted the chaos surrounding them. The once tumultuous cries of Ringo were silenced, replaced by the eerie stillness of unconsciousness. Gon, a somber expression etched on his face as he continued to run towards the distant safety of the evacuation point.
