Third Person POV

As Killua plunged into the tumultuous sea, driven by the desperate need to save his friends, the icy waters enveloped him like a suffocating embrace. For a moment, he was engulfed in darkness, the roar of the storm echoing in his ears as he fought against the powerful currents that threatened to drag him down into the depths.

But then, just as he felt himself being pulled under, strong arms wrapped around him, pulling him upwards towards the surface. Gasping for air, he broke through the surface of the water, coughing and sputtering as he struggled to regain his bearings.

"Tress..." he croaked, his voice hoarse with exhaustion as he looked up to see the blonde-haired girl.

With a determined strength that belied her petite frame, Tress hoisted Killua out of the water and onto the safety of the ship's deck. They collapsed in a heap together, drenched and coughing up water, their bodies wracked with exhaustion from the ordeal they had just endured.

"Cough... Cough."

As the adrenaline faded and the reality of their situation settled in, Killua's mind remained fixated on one thing—saving Gon.

'Gon... I need to protect Gon... I have to...'

His heart heavy with the weight of his promise to protect Gon, he couldn't shake the feeling that it had become a burden—a curse that haunted him like a specter from the past. His vow to his deceased friend Rin echoed in his mind like a relentless refrain, a constant reminder of the responsibility he bore to keep Gon safe at all costs.

.

"Killua. Listen... Please protect Gon."

.

Despite his weakened state, Killua mustered every ounce of determination he had left and made to jump back into the raging sea.

"Gon... I need to get back in there--"

SLAP!

But before he could act, a sharp sting across his cheek jolted him back to reality. Blinking away the haze of exhaustion, he found himself face-to-face with Tress.
