Chapter One: Regular Day

Compton Smith Point Of View

"Rocky if you don't hurry up where going to be late." I yelled to my best friend

"Compton hush I had to make sure my lap top was charged and I have everything we need." He yelled back

"Just Hurry I don't want to be late" I said looking over the last photos I took with rocky.

"I'm going right now, go ahead and get inside the car." Rocky said coming down the stairs

I walked out of the house and got inside Rocky's Benz. I sat my camera and other things in the back seat and turned the radio on. Fetty Wap Again was playing. I turned it up and sang along with Fetty. Lord I can't wait till my career as a Photographer blows up and I start taking photos of famous people. Moments later Rocky can out the house and put all his things inside the car. He got settled into the driver's seat and pulled out of our drive way. I fished my phone out of my purse and checked my emails.

"Rock we have be at Ms. Maria's bakery by 11:30 so that we can start the shoot."

"I know ... we should be there in 10 minutes."

"Okay."

I sat my phone in the cup holder and changed the radio station. Jessie J Flashlight was on. Yes I freaking love this song. Rocky looked over at me and lightly laughed. I continued to sing as Rocky pulled up at Ms. Maria's bakery. I stepped out of the car grabbing all of our things while Rocky locked up the car.

"You ready Compton?" Rocky asked opening the door for me

"Yup Rock."

"Thank you again Ms. Maria for booking Rocky and Myself." I said setting up my camera

"No problem Compton." Ms. Maria said

I plugged my laptop and camera up and waited for Rocky to make sure everything was the way it supposed to be. Ms. Maria's bakery is going to be in the local paper here in Detroit.

"Rocky are you ready?" I asked refocusing my camera lens

"Give me one minute." Rocky said fixing the plate of freshly baked cup cakes

"Okay!"

"STAND RIGHT THERE BESIDE MS. MARIA AND HOLD THE PLATE IN YOUR RIGHT HAND." I yelled taking the picture

I snapped a few more pictures before uploading them to my laptop and letting Rocky take over. Editing and photo shop is favorite part of this whole job. I cleaned off both cameras and places them back inside their cases and put them back inside the car. I walked back inside the bakery and spotted rocky eating a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing.

"Rakim Mayers, really your supposed to be working." I said walking over to him and taking a bite of his cupcake.

"Compton don't ever call me Rakim in public and I'm finish now give me back my cupcake." He said licking his lips
