I inhaled a deep breathe of air as I paired the last wall in Mecca's nursery. August was supposed to be doing Mecca's room, but after what happen two weeks ago I haven't spoken to him directly. Once the walls were dry I called Rocky over to put all of Mecca's things up and of course he insisted that August comes over to help him😩. I sighed in defeat and just agree to August helping Rocky set up Mecca's Room. I walked into the living room ad plugged my phone up to the stereo system and put on Let's Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire. I turned the volume up an made my way to the kitchen to get dinner started then there was a knock at the front door. I sighed and wobbled over I the front door. I stop on my tippy toes and looked out the peep hole only to see Rocky and August. I opened the door and made my way back to the kitchen ignoring August.
I grabbed a pack of steak , two cans on Yams and the stuff to make Bake Mac & Cheese. Although I seriously dislike August right now I couldn't be mean to him and watch him an Rocky Work extra hard on Mecca's room and not feed them. After putting the steak and Mac and Cheese in the oven I sat at the island and played with my fingers. I don't regret not taking August back but I do regret not putting up some type of fight.

I laughed at Rocky as he struggled to put up the crib. He was putting the side frame on wrong😒. Like really nigga it ain't that hard.
"Rocky Just stop Mane', you look like a fool I'll do the crib you just set up the changing table." I said fixing the crib the right way
I finished putting the crib together and stood up and walked out of the Nursery. After fixing the crib and laughing at Rocky slow ass I need something to drink. I walked into the kitchen an spotted Compton sitting at the island playing with her fingers. Something she did when ever something was heavy on her mind. I walked passed her and grabbed a bottle of water out of the refrigerator.
"Compton?" I said causing her to look up at me
"What Anthony!" She said rolling her eyes
"C chill out with all that damn Ma' I just wanna talk to you." I said closing the water bottle and sitting it on the Island across from Compton
"August there isn't anything to talk about you cheated on me, but the next ya hoe show up at my door step asking for you I swear on my father grave I'm kick both y'all ass!" Compton said standing up and going to the oven
"First of she isn't my hoe, secondly there is a lot to talk about Compton Damn, I know I fucked up you acting like I did it on purpose." I said getting mad all over again
"Lower your voice first off August, and it doesn't matter if it on was on. Purpose or not you still cheated on me August that's not something I can forgive you for so just stop fighting for us because there will never be another US August, Yes you are Mecca's father and other thing to me but if it is Mecca or work related don't contact me. " Compton said Calm as possible pulling the food out the oven
