Chapter Six: Days Like This

Today is my father's birthday and I'm feeling really down. I haven't left my room all day which isn't like me because I'm normally active since it helps keep my mind at ease. I laid in bed listing to Jagged Edge -Promise. Hot tears streamed down my face as memories of my fathers flooded my mind. I really miss being a child being happy and around my father. I pulled my cover closer to my chest and looked out the window lost in my thoughts.

The sound of someone banging on the door made me pissed off as I pushed the cover off and and pausing the music. I opened the door and made eye contact with my brother and Mecca. I bent down kissing Mecca on the forehead and stood back up looking at Rocky.

" I figure you need me and Mec's company today since Aug is stuck in the studio." Rocky said rubbing my back

"Thanks Rocky, but I really wanna be alone but since y'all here I mind as well spend some time with y'all." I said pullin' them into the room and shutting the door

I watched Mecca a she seat it the mini sofa in the far comer of the room and played on her iPad. I turned my attention to Rocky and Pulled his hair. He stale faced me and mushed my head. I lightly chuckled as I laid my on his shoulder and closed my eyes. I felt Rocky's fingers tangle up my hair.  I slapped his hand away from my hair so because knowing him my hair will be messed and and all ugly looking because of him.

"Rakim  get ya hands out of my hair before I break them." I said

"Comp when was the last time you put flowers on daddy's grave?" Rocky asked  removing his fingers from my hair

"A year ago." I said lowering my head in shame

"Why so long?" Rocky asked taking his phone out his pocket

"Between work and Mecca I didn't have time and when I did have time to myself Mecca had gotten sick so I couldn't go." I mumbled

"how about this weekend when Augst comes to visit you, y'all go and you introduce him to daddy." Rocky said snapping a few pictures of Mecca

"That would be good and we can go get some shrimp and Froyo . " I said resting my head on the pillow

Rocky, Mecca and I chill for another hour or so before Rocky's decided It was time to leave. Rocky told me he is keeping Mecca for a few days since August is so busy with work and stuff. I kissed Mecca and Rocky bye and relaxed in bed watching Friday After Next (a/n: I'm watching that now on VH1). There was a light tap on the door followed by someone making a beat. I groaned and got up and opened the door August stood there with a Life Size Bear and some flowers.

"Hey babe I thought you where at the studio." I said wrapping my arms around his neck

"I was earlier I left about an hour ago to get this big ass bear and flowers for you..... I know what today and Rock told me how you were feelin' earlier Baybeh you don't have to keep ya emotions bottled up okay." August said laying the bear and flowers on my bed before pecking my lips

I pulled August towards the bed and wrapped my legs around his slim waist and ran my finger through his hair. August laid me on my back never breaking the kiss as his hand made it's way in my shirt

"Umm August s-stop I'm not having sex with you in a rehab center I said pushed on his chest." I said causing August to pulled away and pout like a 5 year old

" Baby stop pouting I promise when I get outta here we can have all the sex you want but Umm I wanna run something by you." I said siting Indian style as August laid on his back

"You Betta' stick to ya promise and was up Baybeh ?" August said rolling on his side so that he was now facing me

"When you come to get me for the weekend can we go visit my father'a grave and get so froyo." I said batting my eye lashes at him

" Of course Baybeh and while we out we mind as well go see Straight Outta Compton..... Ummm speaking Of Compton have you ever been to Compton, Compton ?" August said causing me to laugh

"No I've never really been outta Detroit until I became a singer and even that I stay close to Detroit for family reasons. I said rubbing up and down August chest

" Well when you get outta here for good you, Rocky, Mecca and me gonna take a trip there." August said

" Yah I finally get to go to the city I'm named after." I said smiling extra hard for the first time today

"Chill out Baybeh but I'm get going cause I got some shit to deal with tomorrow with the label. I'm have T stop by tomorrow and bring you some food and more comfortable clothes August said kissing my forehead and leaving out.

Compton finally gonna get to go to Compton ?

August joking gonna day Compton 3 different times. 😂

The next chapter will be there weekend and than I'm focus more on Compton at rehab for a while

Is Leah and her son gonna pop back up causing pro'lems ?
