Compton Smith Point Of View
I sat down at the island listing to some of the music I recorded in august studio a few weeks back. I still can't believe he was dead serious me making an EP. We are currently on song number 4 which is Hard Work. My Ep would have a total of 7 whole songs which are just me. I nodded my head as the music filled the house. I Started singing to myself when my cell phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID ad didn't know the number. I slowly slid the bar and held the phone up to my ear
"Hey this is her, may I ask whose calling?"
---
" Okay ma'am what happen?"
---
"What, No please tell me you're joking." I said holding on to the mini bar for dear life

"I'm on my way!" I yelled
I hung up the phone and quickly grabbed my sweat shirt and purse. I grabbed the keys to Rocky's Benz and started up the car. I pulled out of my drive way and did 60 all the way to Detroit medical center. I parked the car and shut it off and jumped out. I ran inside the hospital and screamed causing everyone to look at me.
"Ma'am what's wrong!" A nurse asked me
"Where are they." I asked barely above a whisper
"Where is who?" She asked
"Rakim Meyers and Analise Smith." I said
"Who are these people to you?" She asked typing someone up on her computer
"My best friend and my mother..... I was told Rakim was shot and my Analise was in a horrible car accident." I said
"Well ma'am they are both in surgery you have to wait here until they are done." She said
I sighed as I stepped out of the hospital and dialed August phone number. I placed the phone to my ear and waited for him to pick up.
"Helluh?" August said
"August..." I said lowly
"Baybeh what's wrong?
"Can you come to Detroit Medical Center Right Now?" I said still whispering
"Yeah, Babe I'm on my way." August said ending the call

I turned the car back around headed to the hospital thankfully no was in the car with me because I did 65 all the way to there. I Pulled into the parking lot and shut the car off and got out. Not wanting fans or anyone to attack me I pulled my hoodie over my head and made my way inside the hospital. I quickly spotted Compton sitting far away from everyone else. I made my way to where she was and sat next her taking her hand in mine. She looked at me and laid her head on my shoulder. I stroked her hair and pulled her onto my lap.
" Babe what happen?" I asked
" M- My mother and Rocky where both hurt." She said sobbing into my chest
"How did they both get hurt." I asked holding her tight
"Rocky was shot and my mother has in a horrible car accident.... August I'm scared." She said
" Baby it's gonna be okay just put ya faith in GOD that Rocky and ya Mama are going to be fine."

Four Hours of sitting in the waiting room and we still haven't heard anything in either Rocky or Ms. Analise. Compton cried herself to sleep. I've been sitting here waiting for someone anyone to tell us if they both are okay. I wasn't knocked out of my train of thoughts when I heard some say Rocky's name.
"Family of Rakim Meyers." A doctor said
I lightly Picked Compton up and made my way to where the doctor was standing. Compton moved around in my arms. Moments later her eyes opened and she looked at me.
"Baby what's going on?" Compton asked in a sleepy voice
"They called Rocky's name." I said which caused Compton to jump up and look at the doctor
"Are you the family of Rakim Meyers?" The Doctor asked Compton and I
"I'm his best friend but more like a sister than anything.... What's wrong with my best friend?" Compton asked trying to fight back her tears
"We were able to remove the bullet, but he slipped into a Coma and we have no idea how long this come may last but there is one thing we do know." The doctor said
"What might that be?" Compton asked wiping her tears
"When Rakim wakes but he isn't going to remember anything so that means he was to go back to his daily routine and try to get him memory back on his own." The Doctor said
"SO YOUR TELL ME MY OWN FUCKING BESTFRIEND ISN'T GOING TO REMEMBER ME OR ANY ELSE FOR THAT MATTER OR REMEMBER WHO HE IS, OR THAT HE IS A FAMOUS RAPPER!" Compton Yelled out
"Baby calm down please we still need to find out if your mother is okay." I said in a calm soft voice which caused Compton to look at me .
"Sir, can you tell me anything about someone name Analise Smith?" I asked
"Yes I can but who are you to the patient?" He asked
"Her son In-law." I said looking down at Compton
"Well Mrs. Smith has a few broken bones and some cut's but she will be fine, no one can visit her thought the first 24 hours are monitored so that nothing changes."
"Okay." I said
I grabbed Compton's hand and lead her out of the hospital. I sat her in the passenger sit of my Range and shut the door. I climbed in and was about to start up the car when Compton looked at me.
"Babe I drove Rocky's Benz here. " Compton said
"I'll send T and Sneak to pick it up." I said pulling out of the hospital's parking lot
"Why both of them?"
"Sneak will drive Terrance here so that, T can bring the Benz to your place and Sneak can go back home." I said keeping my eyes on the road
Compton just nodded her head at me and looked out of window. I know her best friend and mother both being in the hospital at the same time is hard for her to deal with.
