Third person's pov

Entering the house Jungkook declared, "We need to talk about house duties."

Taehyung, still trying to process the situation, stuttered, "W-what duties, Jungkook?"

Jungkook gestured for everyone to sit, taking a seat himself. The family settled around,

"Now," Jungkook began, looking at each of them, "I'm going to divide the house chores. I'll handle breakfast, laundry, and overall house cleaning. Taemin, you're in charge of lunch and dusting. Hye-joon, you've got dinner and sweeping. And Taehyung, you're on garden duty and washing the dishes."

The room fell into stunned silence, everyone's eyes widening in disbelief. Hye-joon couldn't help but whine, "Eomma!"

Jungkook responded firmly, "Yes, I am your eomma, not your servant."

Taemin exchanged a glance with Taehyung, both clearly unsure of how to react.

Taehyung said nervously, "Jungkook, are you serious? This is a bit... sudden."

Jungkook retorted, "Does it looks as If I am joking?" Hye-joon said in a loud voice, "Eomma, this is unfair!"

Jungkook leaned back, crossing his arms, "Life's unfair, Hye-joon. "

Jungkook, continued with a stern tone, "And also, starting from today, there are going to be some rules." All eyes in the room turned towards him, unsure of what was coming next.

Jungkook laid out the new guidelines. "Everyone has to return home by a maximum of 9 pm. We will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together.... as a family, If you're busy, you have to inform beforehand so that the food is only made for three people. If you fail to do so, you'll have to massage everyone's legs for a week."

"Am I clear?"

Hye-joon couldn't hide her bewilderment. "Eomma, what even is this?"

Jungkook leaned back, folding his arms, replied, "Something that is really important."

With the rules set, Jungkook stood up, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "I'm going to my room to rest. Taemin, start making lunch." He moved towards his room, leaving everyone in a state of shock.

As Jungkook made his exit, Taemin, recovering from the surprise, couldn't help but question, "What's in that white bag?"

Jungkook, turning back casually replied, "Nothing special."

Taemin again questioned," You don't always carry bags, are you hiding something?"

"There are my underwears and lingerie. Want to see?"

Taemin's face turned a deep shade of red, and he stammered, "N-no! I don't want to see that. Just go to your room."

Jungkook chuckled and proceeded to his room, leaving Taemin flustered.

In the kitchen, Taemin, still recovering from the embarrassment, mumbled to himself, "Lingerie? Seriously, Eomma."

As Jungkook left the room, Hye-joon expressed her frustration, "Appa, what's wrong with him? I can't follow these nonsense rules and duties."

Taehyung, with a sigh, responded, "Hye-joonie, just do them for the time being. Jungkook seems really serious about this."

Hye-joon crossed her arms, clearly unconvinced. "But Appa, it's too much. Massaging legs for a week? And why does he suddenly want everyone back by 9 pm?"

Taehyung, leaning back on the sofa, tried to reason with her. "I don't know, Hye-joon. Maybe he just wants us to spend more time together. Uff it's annoying."
