Third person's pov

As Hye-joon emerged from the convenience store with a bag of chips and a tub of ice cream in hand, she found a nearby bench and settled onto it. With a contented sigh, she tore open the bag of chips and popped one into her mouth,

Moments later, Jaehyung approached, his footsteps echoing softly on the pavement. He paused beside the bench, "Do you mind if I take this seat?" he asked, looking at Hye-joon.

Hye-joon glanced up at him,"I do, so could you go somewhere else?" her tone lacking warmth.

Jaehyung's face fell, his features adopting a pout that bordered on adorable. "Okay," he muttered softly, as he began to turn away.

But as he started to walk away, Hye-joon felt a bit guilty at the sight of him alone with his ice cream. "Wait," she called out, her voice softening.

Jaehyung turned back and gave Hye-joon a " What's wrong " look.

Hye-joon said, " You can come sit beside me," She said patting the seat beside him.

With a shy smile, Jaehyung settled onto the seat beside Hye-joon, his ice cream cradled in his hands.

"Thank you," he said softly, his smile widening as he glanced at Hye-joon. "It's my first time eating with someone after a long time."

Hye-joon remained silent for a moment, her gaze fixed on the ground. "Sorry," she mumbled in a low and soft tone. "Earlier, I had something on my mind."

But before she could say more, Jaehyung waved off her apology with a dismissive gesture. "It's okay," he assured her, his tone gentle. "I'm just happy to have someone to eat with."

"You know, eating alone is the worst feeling," Jaehyung continued. "I don't even eat at my apartment most of the time because seeing the empty chairs beside me makes me lose my appetite. So I come out, and having other people around me feels nice."

Hye-joon listened intently, but as Jaehyung said, "You know, eating alone is the worst feeling " she couldn't help but recall past memories. She remembered the times when she, Taemin, and Taehyung would leave Jungkook to eat alone.

Sometimes things which you take for granted are things which are other people's dream.

Jaehyung noticed the change in Hye-joon's expression and asked, "Where are you lost?" Hye-joon quickly returned to the present and replied, "Nothing, just lost in thought for a moment."

Jaehyung nodded and started to eat his ice cream again, "Jaehyung," Hye-joon began hesitantly, "if we make mistakes and ask for forgiveness, will the person forgive us?"

Jaehyung paused for a moment, "Well, it depends on the person and your mistakes as well," he replied.

Jaehyung took a deep breath before speaking again. "Hye-joon, forgiveness is a complex journey, both for the one seeking it and the one granting it," he began,

"Sometimes, when we make mistakes, it feels like the pressure or the guilt of the mistakes are too much to bear. We replay our missteps in our minds, wondering if we could have done things differently. But what's important to remember is that everyone makes mistakes. It's a fundamental part of being human."

He paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing. "When we seek forgiveness, it's not just about admitting fault; it's about acknowledging the impact our actions had on others. It's about showing genuine guilt and a willingness to make amends."

Jaehyung's tone grew more soft as continued. "But here's the thing, Hye-joon. Forgiveness isn't always about the other person. It's also about ourselves. Holding onto guilt and regret only weighs us down, preventing us from moving forward and growing as individuals."
