THIRD PERSON'S POV :

The weight of their conversation hung heavy in the air. Atiye, still wrestling with doubts, sat at the window, watching the world blur past while Timothee paced nervously. He knew words wouldn't bridge the chasm between them, not after the revelation and her unspoken fears. He needed a gesture, something bold, something to show, not just tell.

Taking a deep breath, he stopped in front of her, his gaze unwavering. "Atiye," he began, his voice firm yet laced with tenderness, "moving in together may seem sudden, but hear me out."

Surprise flickered across her face, quickly replaced by a hesitant frown. "Move in...?"

"Yes," he affirmed, stepping closer. "I know trust isn't easily given, and actions speak louder than words. Living together wouldn't just be sharing a space, it would be building a foundation, brick by brick. It's a chance for me to show you my love every day, in every small gesture."

He sat beside her, his hand tentatively reaching for hers. "Imagine waking up to your laughter in the morning, sharing meals prepared with love, creating memories that weave you, not Amaya, into the fabric of this home." His voice softened. "It's not about replacing the past, but creating a future where your dreams and mine intertwine."

Silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken emotions. Slowly, Atiye met his gaze, her eyes searching his, seeking the truth beneath his words. He saw the flicker of hope, the hesitant trust, and his heart leaped.

"It wouldn't be easy," she admitted, her voice barely a whisper. "But maybe..."

With a trembling smile, Timothee squeezed her hand. "Maybe is all we need. We can take it slow, adjust, make it ours."

Weeks later; Atiye's heart pounded as she stood at the door, Timothee's words echoing in her mind. Moving in together felt like a leap of faith, a step closer to trusting him, trusting their fragile love. Taking a deep breath, she turned the knob, stepping into a world bathed in sunshine.

Sunlight streamed through windows painted a cheerful sunflower yellow, Atiye's favorite color. Laughter bubbled out, escaping her lips before she could control it. It wasn't just the color; it was the feeling. This small, cozy cottage radiated warmth, like a hug from within.A plush armchair sat by the window, inviting her to curl up with a book. The coffee table displayed a framed photo of them, capturing their shared laughter on a recent picnic. Each detail whispered of care, of someone who had listened, who understood.

Timothee appeared from the kitchen, a sheepish grin on his face. "Welcome home, Atiye," he said, his voice laced with nervousness. "I hope you like it."

She walked further in, taking in the details. A framed photo of them laughing on a beach hung above a plush armchair, its cushions a vibrant sunflower yellow. A bookshelf held her favorite novels, and beside it, a guitar case leaned casually against the wall. Music, another passion of Atiye, an way she can express her untold emotions.

"Is that...?" she trailed off, eyes widening as she spotted a framed autographed poster on the opposite wall. A familiar smile beamed back at her – Niall Horan, her favorite singer. Beside it, a small music player sat, headphones neatly coiled next to it.

"I know we haven't spoken much about music lately," Timothee began, his voice softer, "but I remember you mentioning him. Thought it might be nice to have a corner just for you."

A lump formed in Atiye's throat. It wasn't just the thoughtful gesture; it was the effort, the care he had put into understanding her, even the little things. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring the vibrant colors around her.

Reaching out, she touched the soft fabric of the armchair, tracing the sunflower pattern with her fingertip. "It's perfect, Timothee," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "More than perfect."

Living together wasn't a fairytale. Doubts still lingered, whispered insecurities sometimes crept in. But with each shared breakfast, each lazy Sunday spent listening to Niall Horan together, and every time she found a single sunflower strategically placed on her pillow, the trust grew stronger.

One evening, as they sat on the porch swing, watching the first stars emerge, Atiye looked at Timothee, her gaze filled with newfound warmth. "This place," she said softly, "it doesn't just feel like a house. It feels like… like us."

He smiled, his eyes reflecting the starlight. "It is us, Atiye. Every laugh, every tear, every sunflower, every song – it's all woven into the fabric of this home, just like our love."

Their yellow haven, filled with sunshine, music, and shared dreams, became a symbol of their journey. A testament to the love that bloomed, not despite the past, but because of it, nurtured by actions that spoke louder than any words, and brighter than any sunflower. They built their love together, brick by sunny yellow brick, and in doing so, built a home that wasn't just a place, but a sanctuary for their hearts.

Yet, as the last sliver of sun dipped below the horizon, a distant flicker caught Atiye's eye. On the edge of the meadow, where fireflies usually danced, she saw a flicker of lightning, followed by a low rumble. An unwanted shiver snaked down her spine.

"Just a summer storm," Timothee said, squeezing her hand, his gaze following hers. "Won't dampen our sunshine, will it?"

She forced a smile, but the unease lingered. This wasn't just any storm. It felt personal, a harbinger of something else brewing on the horizon. Xaviar's veiled threats echoed in her mind, and  Amaya's past flickered across her memory.

Timothee's hand tightened around hers, his thumb tracing soothing circles. He sensed her worry, but her smile remained strained. The storm outside mirrored the one brewing within her – a storm of uncertainties, doubts, and the fear of shadows reaching out from the past.

As the first fat raindrops splattered on the porch, Atiye knew this was just the beginning.

The storm was coming.
