The deafening cacophony of screams and gunshots filled the air around me, but I remained strangely detached from the chaos unfolding before my eyes. Natalie's frantic attempts to staunch Demyan's bleeding, his anguished cries echoing off the walls of the dilapidated building, all seemed distant, like scenes from a macabre play in which I was merely a spectator.
"Valencia!" The sound of my name being shouted cut through the chaos, but I paid it little heed. My focus was singular, my attention fixed on the siblings before me, their suffering a twisted symphony that reverberated through the hollow chambers of my soul.
"You crazy bitch!" Natalie's voice rang out, laced with desperation and fury, as she fought to stem the crimson tide flowing from her brother's wounds.
I could feel a cold smile tugging at the corners of my lips as I watched her futile efforts, a bitter satisfaction coursing through my veins. For too long, I had borne the weight of their betrayal, the scars of their deception etched into the very fabric of my being. And now, as I stood before them, gun in hand, the taste of vengeance was sweet upon my tongue.
"Look who's speaking," I retorted, my voice dripping with disdain. "It takes one to know one."
Natalie's eyes blazed with fury, her words a desperate attempt to absolve herself of guilt. "We helped you," she cried, her voice raw with emotion.

Thank you for reading. I know many of you would have been mad that I hadn't updated for a while. However, I won't lie to you. I had to face some very big issues relating to books. I have almost lost one of my books due to an app scam. I had lost my hope to write ever again. Hence I had been missing for a while. I'm literally sorry that I couldn't update.
