"nobody told me dat exam was gon be hard" Tati rolled her eyes "you trippin, it wasn't dat hard" Aries laughed "shiii" I said under my breath "heyy bitches" ManMan came up to us "what yall doin?" He added on "talkin bout da exams" Aries said "lameeee" he said as we walked into the cafeteria "UHM, I heard from the great vine a boy was seen walkin out of yo dorm Aries" Tati smirked "who said dat" Aries sounded shocked "was it Jaymir" I said "Aries, tell da truth" Tati begged "okay damn. It was Jaymir and we just got to know each other, so stay out my mf business" Aries said "yo ahh know damn well" I chuckled "ha ass know dey fucked" Tati said "damn yall know everything" Aries cracked up "so yall did!" I stood up "sit yo ass down...dey just walked in" Aries pulled my arm so I could sit down. They ended up coming over to our table and sitting down "yoo" Jaymir & Esco said "cut da small talk, yall got a homeboy fa me?" Tati asked "fasho I gotchu" Esco answered "period, make sure he fine" Tati got hype "what about me?" ManMan said "ima see what I can do...." Esco scratched his head "his gay ass" Tati whispered in my ear and I laughed "oh yall gigglin?" ManMan said then got up and walked away.
"Ight now dat gay nigga gone, we finna talk bidness" Jaymir said "business???" I raised my eyebrow "yuh bidness" Esco touched my hand "anyways, business is my game at seven so I hope yall comin" I said "I gotta go to workkkk" Tati whined "you got a game onna Tuesday?" Jaymir looked at me crazy "yes..tf" I gave him a attitude "Aaliyah don't start" Tati said "start what he looked at me like he seen a ghost" I rolled my eyes "ian mean no harm" Jaymir put his hands up "yeah, oh ok" I mugged "fr doe we gotta talk bidness" Esco said "what is business" Aries slapped her hand on her forehead "dis 3 man" Esco grinned "we gotta home boy fa ole girl" Jaymir said "a 3 man is crazy" Aries chuckled and the bell rung, "see yall laterrr" I said "ight" da boys said as the girls hugged me goodbye.
I had to go to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center for practice, "you talked to your counselor Saturday?" Coach Kim asked "yes ma'am" I answered "don't push anybody when we play tonight" she pointed her hand in my face "yes ma'am" I mumbled and started practicin wit the other girls.
2 & a half hours later.
"My family coming to da game" my teammate Alyssa said "dats cute..but my momma just had my baby sister so ion think she comin" I exclaimed "what about your dad?" She looked at me "girl he a dead beat" I said and we both bussed out laughing "have you seen your baby sister?" She questioned "threw FaceTime, she really look like my older sister" I answered "aww" she smiled. I left practice and went back to my dorm to prep for da game tonight.

"4 minutes left in the last quarter, working with 15-21. Will Kentucky catch up?" The announcer said. I had the ball, as I tried to make the lay up my leg slipped and my knee cracked. I screamed in pain and seen my mom getting up from her seat to check on me which was surprising because I didn't know she was here.
"Don't move" the ref held me down while I was in pain "GET DA MF ER WTF" I yelled and coach Kim ran over "if you panic it's gonna make everything worse" coach Kim tried to calm me down "it hurt so bad" I cried "Aaliyah listen to them" my mom said "im not tryna have a broken leg da whole summer" I whined "girl you worried about summer when yo whole damn leg in pain" my momma looked at me seriously "YES" I cried even louder then the paramedics came rushing in.
"Where gonna pick you up on 3, 1...2...3" the women said then lifted me up onto the rolling bed thing "momma dis hurt so badddd" I whined "stop whinin you gon be okay" she chuckled "dis not funny" I said "stop actin like this then Aaliyah" she said.
at the hospital.
"Oooo girl we seen everything" Aries said "look who not finna be outside dis summer" ManMan teased "boy don't get popped, whitcho gay ass" I bucked at him "Aaliyah!" My momma raised her voice "excuse my language mama" I apologized "dis is serious, dey got you casted up" Aries looked disappointed "aye but I get to go home early" I stuck my tongue out "WHAT" Aries eyes raised "are you fr?" She added on "yep" I said "dats not fair, now im finna dislocate my knee" she said "wait I shoulda neva said dat" she also said "yeah..." ManMan shook his head.
They gave me crutches and discharged me out the hospital, I had to go back to my dorm to pack my stuff to go home ( period ) "Aaliyah I heard what happened friend are you okay?" Tati asked as I walked in the door "yeah girl it's just a lil dislocated knee" I answered "so you goin home?" She looked devastated "yep" I nodded my head "dangg...I won't have a roommate" she came up to me and hugged me "at least you comin ta Atlanta before summer end right?" I said "you know it df" she smiled "now can you help me pack my stuff, pleaseeee" I begged making me smile fade "ugh I guess" she rolled her eyes and grabbed my suitcase that was half packed.
