"Boyfriend"

Billy left about five minutes ago.
It's thirty minutes before 12mn.
I just realized that I actually have an hour more to make that decision.
Hindi naman obvious na sobra akong excited...

Shocks! Boyfriend ko na si Billy.
After all these years, finally-

I took my phone and started drafting a message.

"Mahal, nakauwi ka na?"
- ang OA!

"Baby, have you reached home?"
- ang cheesy!

Oh... shocks!
Ang hirap pala nito.
Tatanungin ko lang naman kung nakauwi na sya... bakit parang ang hirap magtanong.

So, I closed my eyes while trying to come up with a sweet, but not so sweet message...
Checking on him, but not too clingy....
Girlfriend message, but not pa-bebe ..

So, I smiled when I finally thought of a good one to send.

"Boyfriend, nakauwi ka na?"

I smiled to myself, feeling proud of that SMS.

It's not even twenty seconds when I received a reply.

"Ang astig nung message ha. Parang tropa na hindi, kasi tinawag akong boyfriend"

I was still smiling reading and re-reading his message, thinking of a smart comeback, but was surprised when my phone rang.

"Yes, Boyfriend?"

I heard him laughed at the other end.
"You really like that term, don't you?"

"Aba, ang tagal kong hinintay na sabihin yan... ooops!"

"Haha! Ang cute mo talaga, Patricia! Ang tagal rin naman kitang hinintay"

"Seriously? You've been waiting for me while what? Having chicks on the side. Ang cute mo rin maghintay no? Stop the eye roll, Boyfriend. I can see you"

"Nakakatakot ka, Miss"

"Mabuti nang alam mo ng maaga"

"Miss Girlfriend... anong plano mo bukas?"

"Hinihintay ko pa yung boyfriend ko.... Baka gusto ni hijo medyo pabebe na girlfriend. Yung medyo damsel in distress ang drama- yung tipong hindi maka-decide sa sarili. Might be good to let him make the decisions first, making him feel that he's the one wearing the pants in this relationship..."

"When in actual fact, he's not?"

"Patricia, anong oras na?"

"Bakit? Na-bore ka nang kausap ako? Ibaba mo lang yung phone, hindi naman ako sensitive. Single ka nga lang ulit bukas"

I heard him smirk, then he asked, "Miss, may delivery ata kayo sa labas?"
