Wait ed. (Carla-Billy's Story)

Until Then...

He's near.
And somehow, I knew- we're nearing the end.

I looked at him, as he's removing the distance between us.
I smiled as I saw the flowers on his hand, tapos naka white henley and jeans sya.
Ang gwapo talaga ni Billy.

I looked at the dress I chose to wear today- in fairness, mukha kaming magdi-date.
But come to think of it.
This is probably the second date that we have, first as official boyfriend and girlfriend.
The first one was before I pressed that subscribe button, that Sunday he picked me up to drive around.

He sat beside me while placing that paper bag of flowers between us, his arm on top of the bench where I was sitting.

"May pa-flowers si Mayor. Ang swerte naman nung pagbibigyan mo, Boss"

He smiled when he heard what I said.
Then I was surprised when that said arm was suddenly on my shoulder, pulling me to him, then the next thing I knew is he's kissing me full on the lips.

"I love you, P!", he whispered against our lips as he's looking at those lips which he just claimed, then his eyes went to meet mine.

Parang natatakot ako sa mga ganitong paandar ng boyfriend ko.

"I love you", I answered as I kissed the side of his lips.

We were silent for a couple of seconds, then I pulled back and said, "Ang drama naman ng date natin, Boss"

He looked at me and somehow he knew what I was doing.
Para saan pang naging mag best friend kami kung hindi nya alam kung ano'ng ginagawa ko.

"What do you want to eat?", he asked, then the moment I looked at him- really looked at him, I saw those black circles under his eyes.
Bagay nga kami- isang mukhang panda tapos yung isa, mukhang owl.

I touched those circles and smiled. "Matutulog din. Puro ka laro", I said, though we both know that he's one of those extinct guys who don't play online games.

He laughed as he heard what I just said. "Parang talo e... Kahit saang anggulo ko tingnan, talo"

Aray!
Ayoko na atang ituloy yung date na to.
Another day kaya na extension para makapag-isip pa kami.
Baka sakaling ma-save pa namin to.

"Anong gusto mong kainin?", he asked again, but his eyes were no longer on me.

Gustung gusto talaga namin yung ganitong nagkakasakitan kami.
Masokistang titiisin na pahabain yung sakit, kesa isang sakit na lang.

"Strawberry and chocolate", at sumagot talaga ako. Madali lang naman yun, parang fondue lang.

"Tara!"

"Ha?"

"Tara", he said, as he offered his hand to me.

"Saan?"

"Strawberry and chocolates"

"In fairness, alam mo agad kung saan?"

"Baguio tayo"

"What!?!"

"Mamitas tayo ng strawberry tapos  mag-breakfast tayo sa chocolate di batirol"

"Seryoso ka?"

"Mukha ba akong nagbibiro?"

"Wala akong damit"

"Bumili na lang tayo dun"

"Hindi na tayo magtitipid?", I asked, then I instantly covered my mouth when I realized what I just said.

"Saka na tayo magtipid... pag magpapatayo na tayo ng bahay..."
