Warning: very heavy chapter, description of death and Order 66 at the Temple. You have been warned!

In preparation for their scouting mission, Alora somehow managed to convince Bo-Katan to let everyone sleep on the huge Imperial cruiser commandeered by the Mandalorian mercenaries. Maybe it was selfish because it allowed her to spend more private time with Din, but it also ensured everyone got enough rest and allowed time to make sure every ship ran perfectly.

Riding on the Imperial cruiser did bring out some rough memories, but Alora's main focus is not her tingling skin but the three remaining discs. She decided to fix them all together with the Armorer's help before watching any of them.

When she woke up the night before, she had continued to work on the worst of them all, but it would take time. She had snuck out of the tent and worked just outside so Din could see her shadow when he woke.

Now as they approach Mandalore, Alora stares down at the three discs, all as fixed as they can possibly be. She thanked the Armorer and asked them to bring Din whenever possible.

Whatever is on these discs could break her. She knows that. She also knows that whatever is on these discs could release her of this weight that sits on her shoulders. Seeing Anakin Skywalker's face only made that weight more apparent and daunting.

When Din walks in, he pauses when he sees her seated at the table, the four discs spread out. She had labeled Ahsoka's disc, but the three others were waiting. "Expecting something else?" She manages a grin.

Din sighs as the door closes behind him. "Can't say I wasn't," he mutters as he slips into the seat beside her. They sit in one of the many rooms Imperial soldiers used as individual dormitories. This must have been for an officer of some kind due to the privacy. "You fixed them."

Nodding, she replies, "With some help. I can't watch these alone."

He takes a deep breath and takes the hand closest to him. "What do you think we'll see?"

She has been asking that damned question every second since they fixed the first one. Who knows what is on these discs? If it is all Anakin Skywalker, she might destroy them all.

"I think we have to watch them to find out." Clearing her throat, she squeezes his hand. "Thank you for doing this with me. There's no one else I'd rather have."

"I'm sure that's not true," he scoffs.

"It is." She thought she would have wanted Luke, but he doesn't understand. Not really. But he also understands too much. He knew about her parents and never said a word. He knew the answer to the biggest mysteries of her life, and he remained silent. "Although, I don't really have anyone else anymore either. But I'm glad I'm left with you."
