Natsu was staring at the ceiling of her room, lost in thought. What were the thoughts in question? They were all about (F/n).

Over the past three years of Junior High Natsu couldn’t help but notice the complexity of her and (F/n)’s relationship. Granted while they were best friends, there were certain things (F/n) would do that made Natsu question if their relationship was just strictly a friendship.

(F/n) would always carry Natsu’s bags for her, even if her own bags were heavy themselves. Natsu figured it was normal and just a nice gesture that (F/n) would do, but eventually she started to think otherwise when it became a habit and Natsu would never carry anything as long as she was with (F/n). Another thing was sharing food. Whenever (F/n) and Natsu would share meals, (F/n) always made sure that Natsu got the first bite and the good bite. Again, Natsu figured it was just an occasional thing but it eventually became their standard.

However, the main thing that really made Natsu question it all was (F/n)’s physical affection. There were some gestures that the two of them have been doing since the beginning of elementary school like holding hands for comfort, Natsu falling asleep against (F/n) whenever they were on the couch or sitting up on the bed, and sleeping over at each other’s house. But regardless of that, what Natsu fixated on was that the two of them were always in each other’s hands. (F/n) would hug Natsu from behind being that she was taller than the redhead. Whenever the two were out together they would hold hands or link arms. Whenever the two are sitting or laying by each other Natsu would always be leaning against (F/n) and (F/n) would always have her arm around her.

In short, they did a lot of things that would lead people to believe that they were a couple when they weren’t a couple. And that itself drove Natsu up the wall.

Maybe I should talk to someone about this,’ Natsu told herself as she sighed and sat up from her bed. She reached for her phone and scrolled through her contacts before deciding on whom she could talk to about her dilemma.

The phone rang three times before the person she called answered.

“Hello~”

“Hey Kisho,” Natsu greeted.

“Ah, to what do I owe this pleasure of this phone call?” Kisho asked.

“I need advice,” Natsu rolled her eyes at the dramatic sentence, “It’s about me and (F/n),”

“Hmm,” Kisho smirked, “And what’s the matter between the two of you?”

“Nothing’s wrong,” Natsu said, “It’s just, there’s something that’s been eating away at me and I don’t really know how to go about it all,”
