Let the performances begin!! This is the big moment we've all been waiting for! Well, I've been waiting for this. After hearing from Kalei that Kekoa can twirl knives that are on freaking FIRE, I wanna see how this plays out! But... I wonder what else is gonna happen. Kalei told us that everything else would be a mystery, but I'm curious! Even Skylar and Ivy are curious! ... Was I supposed to introduce myself at the start?? ... Oh, well– It's me, Snowflake. You know– the one that's running around with Ace and Deuce while causing chaos? Remember how I have to put up with Rook?? ... Okay, seems y'all understand now. Let me give you some insight into this AMAZING performance showcase. ... Actually, I don't know anything other than Kekoa's dancing. We'll have to wait and find out.

As the afternoon wore on, the sun began to set. It was almost time for the first performance of the night. Kalei came up and made the statement. "Over the years, the Burnoa Isles has had many traditions, ranging from cultural dances to telling intricate stories. I've selected a few students from Night Raven College to accompany my sons in sharing these amazing performances," she said.

Backstage, Kekoa let his hair out of his high braid, letting it all flow down his back. But that would get in his way, so he retaliated and tied it in his usual bun with a hair tie. "Hey, bro. Are you sure you got this?" Kaimana asked, nudging his twin brother.

They had unwanted people in the crowd, to make things worse. "Yep. I've done this ever since I was 10. I can do it," Kekoa said, gripping his machetes.

"No, I mean–"

"Dude. I know Aunt Jessica and Uncle Alexander are out there in the audience. It's not gonna stop me from performing for our friends and our ancestors."

When Kalei walked offstage and announced the next event, Kekoa walked to stand in the center of the stage. As the rhythmic beats of Polynesian drums filled the air, Kekoa Makani stepped onto the stage, his presence commanding attention as he prepared to showcase his mastery of the traditional Samoan fire knife dance. With two two-sided machetes in hand, their blades gleaming in the flickering light of the torches that lined the stage, Kekoa's silhouette was a striking figure against the backdrop of the night sky. With a fluid grace that belied the danger of his chosen implements, Kekoa began his performance, his movements a mesmerizing blend of strength, agility, and precision. With each twirl and spin of his machetes, sparks flew from the blades, casting a fiery halo around him as he danced with the flames. "Goodness... Look at him go," Azul muttered.

Jade and Floyd watched as well, stunned by his maneuvers. Kekoa's feet moved with lightning speed across the stage, his body a blur of motion as he executed a series of intricate maneuvers, the machetes slicing through the air with deadly accuracy. He moved with the confidence and poise of a seasoned warrior, his every movement a testament to years of rigorous training and dedication to his craft. "As the music reached its crescendo, Kekoa's movements grew more daring and acrobatic, the flames casting an ethereal glow upon his face as he leaped and spun with breathtaking agility. He rolled his eyes and smirked, getting up from his seat as Jack continued to film the performance. The crowd watched in awe as Kekoa's performance reached its climax, their cheers and applause echoing throughout the luau. With a final flourish, he extinguished the flames and took a bow, his chest heaving with exertion as he basked in the adulation of the audience. As he stepped off the stage, sweat glistening on his brow, Kekoa couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction at the knowledge that he had captivated the hearts of all who had watched him dance. "Hey, little firefly."
