"Did you pack my charger?" I asked my wife as we were walking out the door to load into the car that would take us to the airport.

"Yes," Bridget answered as she softly closed the door behind her, making sure not to wake the kids, "I have packed everything. Your charger and everything is in your bag. I've been doing this long enough that I know what needs to be packed."

"Are you sure? I don't want to forget anything," I told her as I loaded our suitcases into the car waiting around front.

"Luke, I've got it all under control," Bridget assured me while I opened the door and waited for her to get in.

"Alright," I said as I slid in the seat beside her making sure to wrap my arm around her and pull her in close.

Neither of us had slept any at all overnight. We stayed up late with the kids and then finished getting everything together for our trip to Europe after they went to bed. We were both completely exhausted and would probably end up biting someone's head off before we board the plane. It was inevitable. Bridget and I were getting on each other's nerves already, yet we didn't want to be anywhere else than with each other. Makes no sense at all, but to us it made all the sense in the world.

The ride to the airport was quiet. Upon our arrival it was brought to our attention that we were the last ones to arrive. I loaded our bags onto a cart and grabbed my orange Under Armor bag from Bridget slinging it quickly on my back before wrapping my arm around her. The airport was just as quiet as our ride here. Black Mike was already filming our journey and in all honesty Bridget and I could deal without having a camera in our faces right now, but it's a part of life. We waited at our terminal for all of ten minutes before we were allowed to board the plane. Bridget and I took our seats and waited for takeoff.

"Dude, where did Luke and Bridget go?" I heard Carter ask.

"They are in first class," Black Mike answered him.

"What the hell? Luke never goes first class!" Carter exclaimed just before he made an appearance next to me.

"Hey!" I said trying to sound cheery.

"What are you doing up here?" Carter asked me.

"Bridget upgraded our tickets yesterday," I told him.

"What the hell?" Carter questioned.

"I'm not flying eight plus hours in a crammed seat next to a complete stranger. I'm already exhausted. Last thing I want is to deal with some hot, sweaty dude who can't shut up and is terrified of flying. It's already bad enough I have to deal with him," Bridget explained with a slight laugh while she pointed at me.

"I guess that's okay. That does always seem to happen to you," Carter laughed.

"Ya think?" Bridget said kind of rudely.

"I'll see ya'll later. I'm going to go sit down before Miss Cranky Pants bites my head off," Carter said just before he left acknowledging Bridget's mood.

"You don't have to be so rude," I told my wife as I adjusted my seat.

"Don't start or you'll see rude," Bridget said while she rolled her eyes at me.

"Rude or not, you would have bitten the kids head off for doing that. I've seen you go off on Kenzie for much less," I told her.

"You know what? I'm fucking tired. I haven't slept in well over 24 hours, I spent my night running around packing things, and I just want to sleep. I get cranky and rude when I'm tired. You have known this for years. Why do you find it so surprising still?" Bridget questioned me.
