“Keep it simple. They don’t need to know everything, just the love that created her,” Caroline said to me as she sat on the deck of our villa.

“What are you talking about?” I asked her.

“They only need to know the love that created her. It’s going to be hard on B, make sure you are there for her,” Caroline explained to me.

“Who’s they? Who’s her?” I questioned her completely confused.

“Your fans only need to know the love that created her,” Caroline explained.

“The love that created who?” I asked again still unaware of who Caroline was talking about.

“The love that created her is more precious than anything in this world. Be by Bridget’s side. The next few months are going to be rough,” Caroline warned me before fading into the sunrise.

I sat straight up in the bed in a cold sweat. I was nervous. I had no clue what was going to happen, but every time Caroline came to me in a dream something happened. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, but always something. I checked and Bridget was sleeping soundly right next to me. She hadn’t moved at all. I laid back down in the bed, but I couldn’t sleep. I decided to slip out of bed and sit out on the deck to watch the sunrise over the horizon. I slowly got up, being extra careful to not disturb Bridget. I started a pot of coffee in the kitchen, since at this point I knew I wouldn’t be going back to bed. Once coffee was done I sat out and watched the sky gradually get lighter, pondering the meaning of the dream I had.

“Good morning,” Bridget said with a smile as the sun was just starting to peak over the horizon.

“Good morning,” I returned trying to hide my worry.

“What’s wrong?” Bridget asked me. It was times like this I wish she couldn’t see right through me.

“You’ll think I’m crazy,” I told her turning my attention back to the sunrise.

“Luke, I know you’re not crazy,” Bridget comforted me as she sat next to me.

“You will with this,” I insisted.

“No I won’t,” Bridget said as she took my coffee out of my hand and took a sip.

I continued to look off into the distance. I knew she wasn’t going to give up until I told her what was bothering me.

“For months now I’ve been having these dreams about Caroline. Not really about her, but it’s just me and her. It’s like she’s giving me advice, advice about you,” I told her.

“Like what kind of advice?” Bridget asked me.

“Well, this last one. The one last night, she said that ‘they don’t need to know everything, just that love created her.’ I don’t know what she meant. Normally I can figure it out, but not this time,” I explained to Bridget.

“First things first, Luke I think she told you that our little peanut is a little girl,” Bridget smiled, “Second, I think she was talking about us. We don’t need to know everything, just that we love each other and all of our kids. Everything else should be kept to us.”

“Do you really think our peanut is a girl?” I asked with a smile while rubbing her bump.

“It’s possible,” Bridget answered me while lightly laying her hands on my cheeks.

I leaned down and kissed her before wrapping my arms around her. I could sit just like this forever, but we had work to do. Jason and Brittany should be getting here any moment to help so we really needed to get up and moving, but we just sat there embraced in each other, paralyzed by our love.
