I woke up to utter silence and an empty bed. I scanned the room and the door was cracked open. I could see a small glimmer of light coming in. That's when I heard the first chords from Luke's guitar fill the empty silence. It was a beautiful melody, but it was one I hadn't heard before. I threw my legs over the side of the bed and the second my feet hit the floor I felt nauseated. I quickly ran to the bathroom hoping it wasn't what I feared. The moment my knees hit the tiled floor my fear became a reality. Morning sickness had set in.

"Are you okay?" Luke asked me as he gently held my hair behind me.

"I've been this route before. I'll be okay. Let's just hope you don't get it this time around," I told him as I stood up and moved to the sink to brush my teeth.

"I guess you're right there. You want a cup of coffee?" Luke asked me as I shoved my toothbrush in my mouth and started brushing vigorously.

I just shook my head as Luke left me in the bathroom. As I finished brushing my teeth I glanced up in the mirror. Boy, did I look rough. Grabbing the hairbrush I brushed my hair and pulled it up into a loose bun on top of my head. Setting the hairbrush down on the sink and exited the bathroom. Luke was standing at the coffee pot wearing nothing except a pair of shorts. I was so scatterbrained in the bathroom I hadn't even noticed. He was a little darker than I remembered. I almost felt like I hadn't seen him yesterday.

"What's wrong?" Luke asked me as I sat at the table and he sat my coffee down in front of me.

"Nothing. Just realizing things I didn't notice before," I said as I picked my cup up and slowly took a sip.

"Like what?" he questioned me, but before I could answer Kerri walked up on the bus.

"Are ya'll not ready yet?" Kerri asked us as she poured herself a cup of coffee.

"It won't take too long. I've got to get in the shower and throw on something before we head over," I told her as I continued to sip my coffee.

"I've just got to change. Well, just throw a shirt on and some shoes," Luke said while sitting down next to me, "I got in the shower this morning before Bridge got up."

"Ya'll need to hurry along. You need to be at hair and makeup in the next hour or so," Kerri informed us.

"As soon as I finish my coffee I'll get in the shower. It shouldn't take me very long since I don't have to worry about my hair or makeup. I just have to blow dry it. We should be out of here in like thirty minutes," I explained to her.

"Are you nervous about tonight?" Kerri asked Luke.

"I wasn't until now. Thanks," Luke smirked, "Nah, I am really nervous. It's AT&T Stadium. I'm so worried I'm going to fuck something up."

"You'll do great," I told him as I nudged him so I could get out.

As soon as I got up and leaned down and pecked him lightly on the lips before going to the bedroom to gather my clothes before getting in the shower. Once I got out Luke had a shirt and shoes on waiting on me.

"Are you ready?" Luke asked as he stood up.

"Ready," I smiled as Luke wrapped his arm around my waist and lead me to the door.

Luke's Bronco was sitting there, but we weren't taking it today. There was a limo sitting just on the other side of it. That would be our ride for the day. Luke quickly opened the door for me and helped me slid across the seat before gliding in behind me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to him as we rode in silence to the Hilton where there were rooms set up for hair, makeup, and wardrobe. Paula, Luke's stylist, had made sure my dress made it safely from the little boutique in New York City where I bought it to Dallas. Actually, I'm pretty sure she flew to New York last week and picked it up and then flew to Dallas with it a few days ago when she came down with Luke's wardrobe for the weekend.
