Yeah, I am rewriting this. ..surprise?
If you're wondering why, it's because this story is not that good. I think some parts are cute, but it could be way better. One of the reasons this is a popular story is cause Boat Boys took off due to Hermitcraft, before then just some people read it but not many (this was made when there were only 11 Boat Boys fics on Wattpad [at least in the rankings] and like three of those were mine XD).
So I didn't feel bad that this story was that bad, cause it was more underground. But with Joel being the guy he is, he can't stay away from Etho, causing Boat Boys to become popular.
I already rewrote Neighbors which was equally as bad, so I decided to bite the bullet and get started on this one.
But since this story already had 19k reads before I rewrote it (thanks so much guys that's insane) I am keeping the original version but also posting the rewritten one. I'm keeping some things the same in the rewritten one, you'll see similar chapters or little callbacks (such as everyone's favorite gay ice cream line) but besides that, the story line is a bit different.
