"Can I ask why you want a sandwich baby? You know we have much better food than just a boring sandwich," Nana says as she sways with me, humming slightly as she moves around the kitchen.

"Light lunch, lots of nummy food later," I tell her my plan with a slight smile, happy that I was getting to share my genius plan with someone.

"You mean eat yourself sick," Nana snorts as she sets me down on the edge of the counter, getting to work at making me a sandwich. She makes a light sandwich for me, humming the whole time as I look at her.

"Any mayonnaise?" Nana asks, making me nod my head after a moment of thought. I plug my nose when she opens it, hating the smell of it. I couldn't help it, for some reason it was just a smell I couldn't tolerate. Mama always fussed about it but it wasn't my fault it was an evil smell that was too strong for my nose.

"Here you are princess," Nana says, setting a plastic plate on my lap. She's cut my sandwich up into smaller pieces, using some bread so it's more like a piece of a sub sandwich. I eat a piece, humming happily as I look at Nana.

"Mommy makes 'matoe sandwiches for me sometime. Is good," I tell her, wanting to tell her about Mommy since she wouldn't know everything that went on when she wasn't around.

"Does she? I'm very glad she's taking good care of you baby," Nana says, cooing when I reach out to touch her face. I cup her face, like she often does to me.

"No, is bad Mommy. Want her to stay with me, 'ever," I tell Nana sadly, earning a small frown from Nana.

When Nana opens her mouth to speak, I cut her off very quickly, wanting to continue talking to her. Nana closes her mouth when I start to speak, looking at me with a soft look.

"I stay with her. Nobles get upset. They always mad, nothing I do is good. Always upset. I try and try and try and they mad. I don't like it, don't wanna be queen. Prrincess was funner," I tell Nana, tears falling down my face. I only realize it because Nana moves my plate off of my lap and pulls me back into her arms.

"Oh my darling, you deserve to be treated so much better than that. I'm so sorry baby," Nana rocks me as I cry into her shoulder, trying to stop myself when I hear someone else come into the kitchen. I didn't want to cry in front of anyone else, they'd think I was a baby.

"Oh no, what's wrong?" Auntie Cal asks, making me lift my head to look at her. She frowns when she sees my tear covered face, coming over to comfort me. I sniffle as she cups my face, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

"Nobles," is all Nana says and I can tell she is fuming. Her voice is all quiet, like she's about to blow up like a volcano. I smile slightly at the thought, a wet giggle escaping my throat.

"What's so funny silly girl?" Auntie Cal asks, smiling when I lean over and whisper what I had just thought about to her.

"Huh, does Nana really remind you of a volcano? I think she's more like a meteor," Auntie Cal says, making me smile slightly. I didn't think Nana was a meteor, she didn't fit that to me.

"No, you're a meteor," I tell her, earning a small chuckle from her.

"Volcano and meteors, you two never stay on subject," Nana fake scolds as she rubs my back, letting me rest my head on her shoulder. I was quite comfortable like this so I hoped she didn't expect me to move anytime soon.

"It's very on subject Mother," Auntie objects as she rolls her eyes, making me giggle. Nana doesn't even turn to fully look at her, swatting her on the bottom.

"Don't roll your eyes at me. I can still take you over my knee! Just because I don't discipline my grand babies, doesn't mean I'm done with my own daughters," Nana threatens as she adjusts her hold, shifting me so I can't hide from her. She picks up a piece of my sandwich, holding it to my mouth. I happily bite it, a small smile on my lips. Nana keeps feeding me this way as her and Auntie talk.

"Is she going to be good after lunch or do you think she needs a N-A-P?" Auntie asks, making me whine and squirm to look at her.

"I know how to spell nap! And I already took one, you can ask Mommy! In fact, I took multiple of those stupid, pointless things," I tell Auntie before going back to letting Nana feed me. Nana snorts slightly, rolling her eyes when I expectantly open my mouth.

"Someone is very mouthy today, huh?" Nana says as she smiles at me. I smile back at her, as best as I can with food in my mouth.

"Don't smile with food in your mouth, don't you know it's nasty that I can see your half eaten food?" Nana teases, rolling her eyes when I stick my tongue out slightly before swallowing my food.

"Is that nasty?" I ask, squealing when she pokes my side.

"Yes, very. Keep your tongue in your mouth or you can feed yourself little miss," Nana threatens, making me immediately nod my head.

"Will stop, I'm a good girl," I promise.

"You're always a good girl, sometimes you're a bratty good girl though," Nana chuckles softly.

"Usually Mommy's bratty though, more than me," I tell Nana, earning a loud laugh from Auntie. I stare at her with confusion, wondering why what I had said was so funny.

"You have no idea how relieving that is to here, she's always the good one according to your Nana," Auntie says, making me furrow my brows.

"No, Mommy is bratty and naughty. She doesn't visit me enough and she...she wouldn't let me wear my super pretty dress because she was worried it would get messed up but I promised her it wouldn't!" I say, earning a coo from Auntie who swoops in to take me from Nana.

"How about you show me this dress and we talk about how naughty your Mommy is?" Auntie asks, making me nod as I look at Nana who sighs.

"Let her finish lunch first," Nana says, pushing my tray into Auntie's hand. I pout dramatically but let Auntie feed me, hurrying so I can finish and show her my new pretty dress! She was going to love it, I just knew it!
