Y/n Pov :

The bag felt heavier in your hand than it should have as you stood in front of Cesar's house. You'd spent hours rehearsing what you would say, but now, all the words felt wrong.

When the door creaked open, it wasn't Cesar but Oscar who greeted you, his sharp eyes narrowing slightly. "What are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to Cesar," you said firmly.

Oscar leaned against the doorframe, his arms crossed. "He told me not to let you in if you showed up."

The sting of rejection was immediate, but you didn't let it show. "Well, I'm here anyway. Please, Oscar."

His gaze softened slightly. "What's going on?"

Wordlessly, you handed him the brown paper bag. His eyebrows furrowed as he peeked inside, and when he pulled out the test, his face paled. "Is this...?"

"Yes," you said softly, your voice trembling.

Oscar stepped aside instantly. "You need to talk to him. He's in his room."

You made your way down the hall, your heart pounding with each step. When you knocked on Cesar's door, his voice called out casually, "Come in."

He was sprawled on his bed, scrolling through his phone, but his expression darkened when he saw you. "What are you doing here?"

"We need to talk," you said, trying to keep your voice steady.

"I don't want to argue again, Y/N. I'm not in the mood."

"I don't either," you said. "But this is important."

He rolled his eyes. "It's always important with you."

That was it. You tossed the bag at him, and he caught it, confusion etched across his face. When he pulled out the test, his eyes widened. "You're pregnant?"

"Yes," you said.

"Is this real? Or are you just trying to get me to talk to you?"

Anger boiled over. "Do you even hear yourself? I'm pregnant, Cesar. I didn't come here to argue or beg for your attention—I came because you have a right to know!"

His mouth opened, but no words came out. You took a shaky breath, fighting back tears. "I've put up with your attitude and your distance because I love you. But I won't let you treat me like this anymore. I'm having this baby, and whether you want to be part of it or not is up to you. Call me when you've grown up."

You turned and walked out, slamming the door behind you. Oscar was in the hallway, his face filled with disappointment as he walked into Cesar's room.

"You messed up, bro," Oscar said bluntly. "Big time."
