hi yall. hope you guys are doing good. i just wanted to take a moment and say thank you so much for reading my oneshots. i super appreciate all the love. reading your comments and seeing that you guys like my stuff is super encouraging and over the years has really helped my confidence.
i got on wattpad YEARS ago (back when there were no ads haha) and used reading as an escape from a bunch of different shit in my life. now its been about 5/6 years of trying my hand at the writing side and it has proven to be an even better escape and i use it as a mental health outlet.
it seems as though the "authors curse" has dealt its hand with me throughout the years and while im able to joke about it now, it was rough in the time being haha. ive used writing in this oneshot book (and the ones that i deleted and am now i guess distancing myself from) to work through some things in life and i am forever grateful that you guys have loved reading my work as much as i have loved writing it.
recently i found out that someone had been reuploading my work on another site without my permission and it was really discouraging. please do not be someone that does that. it sucks. but i am happy to announce that it has now been taken down! yay!
that being said, i have spent a while thinking about the future for this oneshot book.
i have decided to mark this book as completed.
if i am being honest, it wasnt just the reuploading of my work that resulted in this decision. i just havent updated in quite a while and cod isnt really one of my current hyperfixations so it is hard to come up with things to write about that i end up liking. if im not passionate about it then im not providing works that i deem good enough quality to publish for you guys and i dont think you really want shitty works haha. im also in the middle of my grad program and have been busy with my practicum year and applying for internships while also working a full time job and so i just genuinely dont have a lot of time to write and when i do id rather not spend it writing about something im not currently interested in. ive also been having some health issues and so i just cant focus on this book right now.
im sorry to disappoint you guys.
im hoping that in the future i can write more (for this book or other subjects) when my schedule frees up, but i do not know when that will be so i cant guarantee.
anyways, thank you all for the support and i hope that if i publish something in the future you give it a read if its something youre interested in <3
