"M-me? I don't know if I can..." I muttered. My best friend wanted me to go on a double blind date with her.
"Come on! It'll be really fun! Plus, I hear they are both really hot, and you're single! Come on, just this one time? Please?" She asks, putting a puppy face on.
Ah, I guess I can't help it... "Fine. I'll go. But just for today okay? Next time I'm not going. So what do I have to do?" I ask.
"I mean, it's called a double blind date...so um...hehe..." She smiles. "Now shoo, go dress up! We need you to dress pretty!" She smiles, and shoves me in my room and closed the door on me.
I huffed, and went into my closet to look for something...I feel like I'll just go with a simple dress, and bring this bag with me.
I walked out, and my best friend whistled. "Damn, you're looking hot!" She smiles. She then grabs my hand, and drags me to her car. She shoves me inside, closed the door and went to the other side to start the car.
We drove for a while, until we ended up at an amusement park. "This is it?" I ask, slightly frowning. I thought we would meet at a cafe or something.
"Mhm!" She smiles, and opens her phone to text someone. "They're waiting for us inside. I'm so excited!" She smiles, and we both walk in the amusement park.
"Mm, he says they are both standing near the front at a giant water fountain...where is it...oh there!" She shouts, and drags me through the crowd. Ugh, I just want to lie in my bed...
"Hi! You must be Hemist right?" My friend asks the guy with blonde hair, and green eyes. A total eye candy.
"Ah, yes. Hello. You must be Okai? This person beside me is my friend Kore." He smiles at us. I looked at the guy standing behind Okai.
He had black raven hair, perfect facial, and had ocean blue eyes. They were beautiful. I snapped out of it, and gave them both a wave, as Okai and Hemist linked arms.
I akwardly waved to the guy, as his lips slightly tilted up, signaling a greeting. He was pretty. Like, really pretty. He's got to be a model or something.
I talked with him, as he didn't really talk much, and listened to me. I asked him about his interest, which was reading. I asked what his job was, he said it was writing.
I was quite shocked, but not that much. He was so similar to me. "Have you read the book "Ophelia?" I asked. He seemed to...quiet down a lot.
"...that book. Yeah. You could say so." He says, and then shut his mouth again. I can't believe it. He reads so much books that I read!
"Ah, then you must know the mysterious author that goes by the name Black Rose right? He writes so much dark romance! I'm literally a fan of all his books!" I sighed with content.
"Ah, yes." He nods. I suddenly felt thirsty, and looked towards one of the stands selling flavored water. I really wanted some right now. I reached into my purse, but a hand stops me.
"I'll get us some water. No need to pay me." He said, then walked away. He was such a gentleman. If I didn't meet him for a blind date just because of today, I would've totally asked him out.
I waited, sitting on the bench, as a guy approached me. "Hey, can I have your number?" He asks, smiling. I paused, and shook my head, but the moment I did that he instantly frowned.
"Come on. It's just a number. Plus, you look so lonely right now...wanna head back with me?" He smirks, and keeps pushing me to hand my number to him.
"No." Kore says, walking out of nowhere with our drinks. "She has a boyfriend, so fuck off." He glares, and the guy slowly backs off.
"Jeez. She could've said something. What a mood killer." The guy mutters while walking away. Kore looks at me worriedly.
"He didn't do anything right?" He asks. I shook my head, and gave him a thumbs up signaling I was okay and thanked him. Later, he bought us both tickets in the ferris wheel, and we sat in there, tired.
The day was almost over, and the sun was preparing to set. A orange glow shone on him, as he looked into my eyes.
"So, what brought you out on this blind date? Were you also forced like me?" I ask, sipping my drink that he bought me. I heard him mutter something, and didn't hear everything.
"Can you repeat that?" I ask, not quite hearing most of his words.
"I wanted this blind date." He said quietly.
"Huh? Like, you also wanted to find someone?" I asked, tilting my head, confused. What was he trying to say?
"No. My friend heard your friend was looking for a blind date. My friend took the opportunity, and then I asked him if he could make it a double date and asked for you." He says shyly.
"W-what? Have we met before this?" I asked, surprised. So this guy liked me before I even met him on this blind date?
"Well, truthfully, I've liked you since...we went to highschool together, and since you've helped me." He said.
"High school..." I muttered. Helping someone. I wasn't one to help since I was pretty socially awkward...
"OH! You're the guy in the library, who was muttering stuff, and trying to write right? But all I did was just give you a prompt..." I said.
"Yes, but without that prompt, I wouldn't have been able to hand in the project." He smiles. I suddenly felt very shy, and hot all of a sudden.
"And I was hoping...that after this date...you'll be mine?" He says, pulling some roses out. I gasped, and blushed.
"A-are you sure? I'm just a simple girl a-and I don't want you to regret or anything-" I muttered, not understanding how he would want someone like me.
"There's no other person I would rather fall in love with (Y/n). So, will you be my girlfriend?" He smiles, as tears ran down my cheeks.
"Of course!" I hugged him, and we both kissed, under the gentle moon in the sky. That was the most memorable moment in my life.
