Hope's POV:
"Hope Solo!" Kelley said coming into my room. She sat on the chair near the desk that was in the room and started to spin. "How you doing Solo?"
"Eh." I shrugged laying on my bed.
Y/N hasn't come back yet. She's been with Morgan since dinner.
"What's going on? Talk to mama Kel." She said. I laughed. "Yay I made you laugh. Tobin owes me 20 bucks now."
"I won't tell you anything as long as you refer to yourself as "mama Kel" you know that right?" I laughed.
"I know but it made you laugh. Laugher is the key to cheering someone up and you my friend" She sat at the food of my bed. "can use it." She looked at me. "It's about Y/N isn't it?"
"Am I doing a good job with her? Be honest with me."
"You are by far the worst parent ever."
"Damn O'Hara don't be so easy on me."
"Wanna know where you went wrong when you asked me that?" I nodded. "You said "job". Parenting shouldn't be a "job" Hope." She finished. "You're probably thinking "She's only 27 and has no kids what does she know?" and you are damn right."
"Yes Kelley. That is exactly what I was thinking."
"I have 2 siblings." She said. "My parents had to deal with teenage years 3 times. Was it easy? No. Being a teenager isn't easy at all, but imagine being a teenager like Y/N. Being tossed around from home to home, never staying in the same place for a day." She stood up. "It's not gonna be easy, but it won't get better if you refer to it as a job." She went to the door.
"Wait Kelley." She stopped. "You're kind of close with her what does she talk about with you guys?"
"The fact that you have to ask me that question says enough. Don't be a parent for her. Be more of a friend. She wasn't looking for parents she was looking for a place to call home and sometimes home is a place with great friends. She has that here."
"She does."
Kelley smiled. "She knows you're stressing about all this." She said. "Y/N knows you better than you think Solo." She left.
Little O'Solo for some of you. Who knew Kelley was so wise? That 5 year old squirrel man.
