Join the Band

Your POV:

"Hey." A girl my age ran up to me.

"Hi." I said. "Whats up?"

"Nothing. I heard you're a musician."

I nodded. "How'd you hear that exactly."

"My friend, her name's Ari you can meet her later. She said a friend of her's saw this crazy talented teenage girl on tour. Her name was Y/N. So she looked her up and saw you were a music student here." I was getting creeped out. "So I have a question to ask you."

"Okay...."

"I'm putting together a band. Ari is in, I'm in. Are you in?"

"Um."

"Come on it will be fun."

"I don't even know you." I said. 

"And I don't know you." She said.  

"Here. Why don't you come to a practice and check us out. Meet Ari and our guitar player." 

"So what do you and Ari play? And whats your name?"

"Oh sorry. I'm Phoenix and I'm then drummer. Ari plays bass."

"Then what do you need me for? You have a guitar player."

"Another one. And you're vocals are insane. Just please come to the practice and check it out."

I sighed. "Fine."

She told me when and where and gave me her number. I never thought of being in a band but it'd be something cool to do. 

Class was the same as usual. Me and Garrett caught up since we haven't seen each other.

"How was Morgan?"

"She's good. It was nice seeing her."

"And the tour? I saw videos of it."

"It was cool." I said. "Got a little boring after a while. The same thing everyday and I was alone really."

"You should join my band."

"You have a band too? I just talked to someone about joining their band before class."

"No way." He laughed. "What was her name?"

"Phoenix."

"Oh Phoenix. We're in the same band. Please tell me you're joining."

"I'm gonna check you guys out and let you know."

"Please join." He begged. 

"I'll think about it." I said. "Now can we go get lunch I'm starving." 

He laughed. "Yeah let's go Solo." He pushed my arm.
