Your POV:

The party was still alive. The younger kids got tired and were asleep in the house. The rest of us were still partying.

"Hey Y/N." I turned around.

"Oh. Hey Sera." I looked at Megan's wife. (Soon.... the gals will be drunk again)

"You have a good voice."

"Thanks." I took a sip of my water. 

"I have an offer for you." She smirked. "I'm doing a small little tour. West coast gigs. How would you like to open for me?"

"Are you serious?" She nodded. "I mean I'd love too but what about school?"

"Tour starts in 2 weeks. You're still on summer break. You'll be back before your semester starts." She finished. 

"Woah." I ran my hand through my hair. "It sounds like a great opportunity." I looked up at her and smiled. "Count me in." 

She clapped. "Now we're talkin." She patted my shoulder. "We'll talk more about the details. You have a future in music kid. Chase it." 

She walked off towards Megan. I looked up at the sky. 

"What was that?" Hope asked. 

"She's going on tour and I'm gonna open for her."

"Y/N-"

"Hope this is an amazing opportunity for me!" I said. "I'm 19 now. Plus it's Sera! I'll be back at the end of the summer just in time for school." 

"I don't know."

"Hope please." I grabbed her hand. "I'm responsible! Plus I'm in it for the music."

"What are you gonna perform? Covers?"

"I've actually written some stuff." I said. "Might not be good but I got this."

She sighed. "I don't know-" 

"There's my girls!" Kelley said walking up to us. "What are we talking about?"

Hope filled her in on the situation. 

"I think its sounds like a great idea." Kelley said. "She's in college for music. This is an opportunity to get her name as a musician out there. And she's 19 go out, explore the world. Live." Kelley smiled.

"Y/N. If you really want to go, you can go."

"Really?" They both nodded. "Thank you!" 

"When's it start?"

"2 weeks."

2 weeks later

Tomorrow was the day. I packed up and was heading out on tour. Morgan took the news as expected. She's upset we won't be together all summer, but she's gonna be traveling with the Dash anyway. 

I worked on a special song just for her. 

"Where you heading?" Karen asked from the kitchen.

"Going to see Morgan. She's pretty upset about the tour so" I held up the guitar. 

"Ah sing to your girlfriend." Karen nodded. "Cutest trick in the book. You really love her don't you."

I smiled. "So much."

"Well go sing to her." Karen laughed. 

I got in the car and drove to Morgan's house.
