You were doing the dishes because you and Niall just ate. "Y/N." You hear him yell. "In the kitchen!" You yell back. You hear his footsteps coming closer, he bursted inside and stormed up to you. "Explain this!" He says and gave you an angry glare. He shows a picture on his phone. You grab his phone out of his hands and you take a closer look. It was you and your cousin Y/C/N , you were in his arms in bridal style, both laughing. You cock your eyebrow. "That is my cousin Niall." You laugh. He snatched his phone out of your hand and his jaw tensed up. "Don't lie to me, Y/N!" He says and looks furious that ever before. "I'm not lying Niall, I'm serious! He's my cousin!" You spill out. "Why don't you just admit it Y/N who it really is? Are you cheating on me, huh?" He asks. "No Niall, I swear that's Y/C/N , and he's my cousin! From my mom's side!" You exlaim. He rolls his eyes and his eyes turn in a darker shade what scared you a bit. He clenches his fists and looks down at you. You only gulp. Anger is apparent in his stare. He takes a step forward and suddenly you feel a sharp pain in your cheek and you only whimper. He just slapped you. Niall just slapped you. Because you were on a picture with your cousin. You feel your eyes welling up and tears forming in your eyes. You put your hand over your cheek, where he slapped you and looked at the floor, not even daring to look up at him. You whimper once again and you feel a tear rolling down your cheek. You look up and see Niall, who calmed down again. "Y-you just hit me." You whispered and again, another tear leaves your eye. "Baby I-I, I di-" He croaked out but you cut him off. "Leave me alone Niall. I don't want to see you again." You croak out, trying to hold in your tears and cries. You run upstairs immediately throwing your clothes and important stuff in a suitcase. You called your cousin because he was the person who would always be there for you when you needed help. "Y/N?" He asks. "Yes it's me. Can you please pick me up? Something happened and I-I, please come and get me Y/C/N." You cried out. "I'm immediately coming!" He yells into the phone and you hear his car starting. "Please don't hang up yet." You beg. "Ofcourse not Y/N!" He speaks. "I'm almost there! I'm glad we don't live that far away from eachother." He exlaimed. "Anyways I'm almost here, I'll honk." He says and hung up. You grab your jacket and wait for Y/C/N to honk. You're scared that Niall will chase you, so your plan was to when you hear him honk you run as fast as you can downstairs with your suitcase and jump as fast as you can into the car. You hear someone honking, three times. That only meant that it was your cousin. You whispered to yourself and counted down. "1, ..2,
3!" You throw your suitcase down the stairs instead and you open the frontdoor. You grabbed your suitcase but in that moment Niall walked into the hall to see what made a loud noise. Your eyes widen and you run outside and dropped your case in the backseat. "Y/N!" You see Niall running up to you. You close the door and walk as fast as you can to the passenger's seat. "Please Y/N, stay." Niall breathed out. "Leave me alone Niall." You spat and again, you feel a few tears rolling down your cheeks. You step inside the car and Niall watches how you drive away. "We're going to my home so you can explain everything that happened and after we'll watch cool movies and eat a lot of food." He says. "You know me very well Y/C/N." You laugh.

a few hours later

You had explained everything what happened to your cousin, in detail. You were scared that he'll beat Niall up. He also did that with you ex-boyfriend who cheated on you. Anyways, you watched movies all night and you were both going to sleep. It was now 3 am and you were woken up by your phone ringing. You didn't even bother to look at the caller ID and immediately accepted the call. "Who's this." You whine. "Y/N." You hear the voice on the other line whimped and recognised this voice and that made you widen your eyes. "I told you to leave me alone Niall." You spoke. "Pl-please help me." He says and your eyes widen. The phone line went dead and you were scared what might happened to him. You decide to let Y/C/N sleep and grabbed his car keys. You drove to your and Niall's house and saw that all the lights were on. This was even more suspicious so you locked the car and to your surprise the door was already open. You walk inside and hear people talking. "How dare you to hit her?!" You recognised that voice and that was your one and only cousin. "You don't know why I did that." You hear Niall respond. "And why's that?!" You hear Y/C/N ask in anger. You heard that someone hit someone but then you heard Niall wince from the pain so you knew that Niall was the one who got hit. "You don't know the feeling you get when it feels like the love of your life betrayed you. Yes I know I was wrong but you don't know how much pain it does. I don't want to lose her mate." You hear Niall speaking truthfully. "That doesn't give you a damn reason to hit her!" You hear Y/C/N scream and now the only thing you heard was someone getting hurt and you were scared to see the scene what was going on. You walk inside and you gasp really loud. Again, like he did to your ex-boyfriend he was beating up Niall.
"Y/C/N stop!" You scream and try to get grip on his hands. "What are you doing here Y/N, you're not supposed to be here!" He says. "But Niall called me and I already know why." You dragged. "That's why the prick was holding his phone a few moments earlier." Your cousin says. "Why are you beating him up?" You ask him. "He hurt you and you know what happens when someone hurst you." He responds. "He did it because he loves me Y/C/N!" You screamed. "Nobody hits another person with love." Your cousin says. "He really loves me. He was scared I was going out with another and he was hurt! He really loves me! He wasn't thinking when he hit me, I hope so.." You trailed off. "You're safe for now on, Horan."
Y/C/N says and gives Niall an angry glare as he walks out. "I'm so sorry." Niall says. You walk over to him and hugged him tight. "I love you so much Y/N, never forget that." He whispered.
